Americans want grungy people, stabbing themselves in the head on stage. They get a bright bunch like Oasis, with deodorant on, they don't get it. Yeah because Liam has always looked prim and proper and like he has deodorant on at every Oasis gig. Get out of here with this ignorant nonsense about what Americans like. Also, Oasis a bright bunch? lol Come on, now...Liam just dedicated a song to kids who failed their fucking exams, ffs. I mean, look, I love oasis and I'm excited but this fucking attitude is the worst part of oasis fandom, easily. Grow up.

Killers as an opener would really drive sales. Flowers is a massive Oasis fan but not sure he would want to open but he might view it as a true honor.

West coast show at the Rose Bowl would be outstanding. I just can't even fathom them filling up that place. Rose Bowl is like 90k! Then again, stands to reason tickets would be more easy to attain. And being in LA helps so no need to travel

I just checked that UCLA will NOT be playing at home on 6th September so it's not impossible. Still, it's a gigantic venue.

Weezer would be a cool opener. That joint USA tour almost happened in 2009.

I'm hoping for a Nashville/Indianapolis date, but most likely any US dates will be New York, LA and Chicago and that's about it

It is definitely ambitious, but if they keep it strategically one show in each part or North America most people will use it as a summer vacation type thing. I think there is more interest and demand in Oasis in America for a whole generation of fans now than there was in 2009 thanks to the internet, reissues etc. They need to do a lot of press though, and hopefully nothing from their past comes up and ruins this since America still likes to cancel people. They will definitely need some very good support acts to push anyone over who is still on the fence. They may even close off the third level seating. especially for a newer generation of fans removed from the harsh criticisms the band got in the beginning, and without grunge the default genre of rock

Accurate dates on the leak is a great sign for us in NA. But then seeing the message on inet "Plans are underway for OASIS LIVE ’25 to go to other continents outside of Europe later next year" gives me way more confidence that the dates are the real deal.
Now I know (single date) stadium shows in the US and an open air show in Canada can be a big ask for NA fans but does anyone else think the greyed out dates below each date on the list are a backup secondary show?

The OFF dates? Part of me thinks they are potential second shows as Heaton Park also has an OFF date.
Oasis selling out potentially 7 stadium nights in the US... that would be insane. No one could say they didn't break America after that.

Love the speculation and everything pointing towards something massive. What a time to be alive and them getting a late success in the US would be beyond awesome.

They’ve sold more records than you think in America … Jeff slate of sirious fm stated yesterday they’ve now been declared as selling over 41 million records alone in the states .. the myth they didn’t achieve is exactly that

Do you mean 4.1 million? My quick math was DM sold a million, MG over 3 million and BHN a million. The rest of the catalog sold like 400,000 combined.

Sorry to say. Oasis cumulative album sales are around 70 million worldwide. No way that 41 of that is from America, hahaha. Across all albums, Oasis have totaled around 7 million sales in America. (4 million of those are WTSMG alone). There are certified numbers and records for all of this.

Record sales is not album sales .. it’s total sales and oasis are past the 100 million mark … wonderwall alone is double figures .. they are a huge singles bands old Jeff may have got carried away but they’ve shifted more than many think .. their hits and big albums were big in America

(4 million of those are WTSMG alone). There are certified numbers and records for all of this. Billboard certifications are somewhat slow to update (iirc, the label has to request updated sales figures). Morning Glory has been stuck at 4xPlatinum in the US since November of ‘96. It’s not exactly been a consistent seller since then. But I imagine it’s probably shifted a few physical/digital download units in the intervening decades. And streaming is calculated into album sales equivalents now. Wonderwall alone has over 2 billion Spotify streams, but, per Billboard, less than 400 million are from the UK. So Morning Glory may be a bit closer to 5xPlatinum or 6xPlatinum. Wonderwall and Supernova are likely probably eligible for Platinum certification here at this point (they hit gold based on digital downloads in the mid-2000s). For reference, 90s lo-fi indie legends Pavement just had their first ever gold-certified song in the US after Spotify algorithm’s drove an obscure B-side of theirs to 150,000,0000 streams. That said Oasis’ lifetime sales here, studio albums, compilations, singles, digital downloads, calculated streaming equivalents, are probably around 10 million.

The lads must really believe and have evidence there’s demand to fill these big venues.
Management would have done their market research.
Market research? If you build it, they will come. That’s my market research. (Points for the reference).
