i went back and listened to that clip of Liam from the Charlestown pub which i remember when it happened - and am finding myself getting very nostalgic tonight for all that beady eye and solo material from both Liam and Noel over the past 15 years. i will never forget when that NGHFB album came out. helluva lot of great material from both brothers all these years. bit of an end of an era tonight. Unless both Liam and Noel really get along and decide to make the reunion permanent, I think we'll get plenty of Noel/Liam solo stuff in the future |

For a lot of us, the big question is America. Of course they could probably do 10 Knebworths in England and still have ticket demand and headline any major festival in Europe or Asia or South America. But what about stateside? Do they still have enough fandom here for even a small tour of major markets, playing arenas/amphitheatres, to make sense financially? Or do we think it’s going to be similar to the Blur/Stone Roses route (ie. Headline a big festival, do a show in NYC and/or LA)? Gen Z and modern indie kids haven’t picked up on them the way the newest generation post-2016/2017 have in the UK and Ireland (meanwhile, their former labelmates Slowdive are 10x bigger here among music fans than they were three decades ago). Obviously they’re far bigger than both Blur and the Roses combined in the US. I’d guess Oasis could sell out two nights at Madison Square and two nights at the Hollywood Bowl easily. If there are big enough support acts I don’t see why not. Hollywood bowl is 20k and roses bowl is 90k. If we have 2 nights, counting in those double booked, that’s quite competitive actually. And can easily pull off 2nights in sf, which is, insanely, 6hrs drive from la. Imagine pushing casual fans to drive 6 hrs to see wonderwall |

Trying to rationalize how I feel gets me back to Christmas' mornings as a kid. There's no way of knowing how this will go. But I'll cherish this feeling for a long time. This brought me to near tears. As someone who never ever thought I'd get this chance, I genuinely cannot put into words the emotions I'm feeling right now I was watching the Go Let It Out music video earlier and started crying. I’m so happy right now. |

It was a festival and Blossoms were just the last band playing that night |

Replace a couple tracks, Lyla with Hello, Waiting for the Rapture with Importance of Being Idle (or Step Out) and I really like that setlist. Its a shame Liams vocals were kaput then, I really liked that version of Roll With It with the updated solo. |

I’m so happy right now. Seeing the joy on these boards is so fantastic. It's great seeing this band bring people together, once again. I'd love to get some new music out of this at some point (and wait for the leaks to be imminent once again), but I'll be content even if it's just some live shows too. I'm looking forward to not talking about Oasis in the past tense anymore. |
