I haven't checked the forum in a week, can someone please catch me up? Do we have anything right now other than that article of rumors in the Times and the ambiguous promo post Tuesday's date? If there's more, I'm not going to find it in this 39-page (!!!) thread.

I was asked to guest speak on that, but i missed the email, it was actually a good listen too. I'd have ruined it for sure My "thoughts" in a nutshell.. Spooky that my London exhibition tickets go on sale 9am on the 27th, timed nicely. 5 or 6 Qna's this time with some very interesting footage lined up....and a golf cart. Hopefully get some good luck launching at such a hot topic time Anyway, Noels band are musically far superior to liams. But Bone is the bones of the band. Liam Noel Bonehead guitar Gem bass Sharrock There is no chance Noel goes into this without his comfortable reliable and btw.... mad talented musicians who are all in the circle currently, less risk and no upset to current band members. Add Liam and Bone to that and wow. 10 dates, Manchester and London, see how it goes. If it works maybe festivals and a proper tour. If it doesn't work, the slap arses and wave goodbye.... John Robb couldn't make the press party for TWFly Manchester as he was in Sifters filming with Noel that exact time. I've heard from a few (including Oasis WTS) that it's a new album, too. Not sure how / why he would know, mind. Let's not be greedy but it would be a shame for this to happen and for it not to be a proper reunion. that being said, maybe it is the first small step towards them properly reuniting for good. I'd be hugely surprised if album chats are even on the table at this stage, never mind confirmed. Play 10 shows, then look back and decide what's forward. I've spent a lot of time with Tim recently, (announcing him as a new qna speaker at my London event this week). I asked him about the usual route after 10 gigs like this. Festivals. Makes sense. Festivals will take up the whole summer, less pressure. Then it's album chat ... But I'm talking bollards as usual so who knows

If there's more, I'm not going to find it in this 39-page (!!!) thread. It's worth looking through just for the hype. It is basically all but confirmed. A lot of very reliable people (some on this forum, others in Liam's circle) have said it is happening. Ignore Liam's tweets because although they do point to a reunion, they are about as reliable as the weather. 10 shows (maybe 20) - announcement tomorrow (!!!!!!!!!) at 8am UK time

If anything this is an ambiguous announcement designed to gauge public interest in a reunion.

OK. Though I'm 99% hyped that this is it, what if this fall through? Any recommendation to cope with it? I think I got too carried away...

Coming from an American who is planning to pay whatever it takes for a ticket to the first show (alongside all the associated travel costs), I fully understand that given the band's tumultuous history they could decide not to play mere hours before the first concert. Obviously that would be devastating but if the worst were to happen I could still spend some time enjoying the UK.

No way Noel would let that happen, it will be the 2009 band for sure Don'think that Andy Bell will leave Ride right now.

15 years ago I was at Rock am See wanting to See Oasis. The night before the split in Paris. 24 years ago I was at Rock am Ring wanting to See Oasis. The brothers had a Fallout at Barcelona the week before so that Noel left the Tour and only Liam turned up. And now after I See the brothers seperately live various times next year I might have the Chance to See them together on stage for the first time in my life? No words!

Unbelievable that this is happening. Been a fan for 20 years (was posting on here back then too!), saw them once on the DOYS tour, and it’s crazy to think the majority of that time was them broken up. Can’t imagine what it’s like for the kids who only know them as a defunct band. I’m fucking beyond happy

I find the album rumors very hard to believe. The way I see it, there will be a handful of stadium/festival dates in 2025 to test the waters, and maybe - a BIG maybe - a more extensive world tour and at least an attempt at recording an album in 2026 depending on how 2025 goes.
I'd be happy to be wrong though. Even if Oasis' later albums weren't consistently great, there are great songs to be found on each, and Noel has not lost his songwriting chops by any means.

My stab at the line up:
Noel (rhythm) Liam Gem (lead) Bonehead (brick wall) Chris Sharrock Russ (bass)
I would expect Mike Rowe on keyboards and maybe Jess or someone else from HFB in there somewhere.
I don’t think Andy Bell will leave Ride to go back with oasis.
Also, if there’s new music it has to be 100% Noel written and 95% Liam sung.

Noel’s requirement will have been his musicians and Liam’s will have been Bonehead, and even if he wanted some of his band, he wants an Oasis reunion more.

Thinking back, I still remember where I was when I read Noel’s post on Oasisinet in 2009. Hit me like a ton of bricks at the time.
