I doubt tbey've recorded anything yet (if they're going to at all). It would have been too hard to keep a recording session quiet. When the Beatles did FREE AS A BIRD/REAL LOVE/NOW AND THEN at a private recording studio news leaked very quickly - and that was in the days before there was much social media! Obviously no chance of it, but it wouldn't be so difficult to secretly record. I don't think it happened but I found interesting what Noel said on Matt's podcast, that he shut down the studio and sent everybody home. He has an empty studio where they can record stuff without anyone involved leaking information. |

You really think any of them would turn down this huge opportunity lol? Maybe Guigsy, for health reasons but even he would be tempted

The pessimist in me believes that tomorrow will only see the launch of the new hand soap collection. The optimist in me wonders how the ticket refund works when Noel and Liam argue three minutes before the first show. In short: I'm hyped.

Don'think that Andy Bell will leave Ride right now. Im sure the ride would understand.... Didnt they the first time ? Back then they were already broken up I think. And Andy is doing great stuff with Ride, that I really doubt, that he would leave them now. |

I love the sound people in the crowd of both gigs made when they saw the thing on the screen. It's like they just witnessed UFO landing, priceless.

I'll wait for the announcement to make my mind up on how I feel about this. Unlike quite a few on here I've seen Oasis live before so I don't feel that once in a lifetime fear of missing out where I would be desperate to see them play together for the first or maybe last time. I'm also not invested in their own personal lives so I really don't care if they patch things up or not.
If they announce that they're going to be recording new music I'd be over the moon. If it's just a tour playing the greatest hits and then going back to solo projects in a couple of years I'll be disappointed because I'm mainly interested in new music and albums which a big tour would delay. I'll still go and see them and have a great time if it's just a tour but what I really want is a new Oasis album.

If they are getting back for one more tour I’m guessing there will be some new music that will be released too. At best an album , at worst an EP. Will Bonehead come back, will the drummer? I would much rather it be the 1999 line up than the 2009 line up. Maybe Brian Cannon comes back to do the artwork, Owen for the sound recording. Ok, trying not to, but I’m getting excited… |

I can take or leave a new album. Maybe something like Come On Outside being re-recorded with Liam’s vocals would be interesting but eh. This should be and will be about the classics

Yeh OK, you're committing to your trolling, I can respect that. But please for fun let me see what nonsense rationale you can come up with for the Blossom's having the video up at their gig today? To promote some 30 year old outakes from another band?! Suuuureee I'm not sure you understand what the term trolling means. I'm not trolling at all. Anyway, thanks for the information about Blossoms and what they played at their concert. Another clue. Something big is definitely brewing, I hope it's a reunion because I've always been rooting for that. Many have said it's better to have NGHFB albums and gigs and Liam's solo albums and gigs, but I've always been rooting for a reunion. I also hope there are dates outside the UK so I don't have to get a visa. My brother is currently in London, and I know how annoying that can be 😀 Llast night's date reveal was coordinated across Oasis Official, Noel and Liam accounts all at the same time. Blossoms kicked it off first revealing date after their set. Anais also put date reveal on her IG. Debbie 'liked' Noel's date reveal on his IG. Combine all that with Liam's tweet saying "I never liked the word FORMER" and when his followers put the Sun article saying CONFIRMED in front of him, he didn't deny it, instead just said "see you down the front you big fanny" So all that puts this reunion pretty much beyond all doubt. There aint' no way all of that is gonna be rolled out for a 30th anniversary album reissue/Liam's live album. It's happening!! |
