I'm definitely on the hype train regarding a reunion, but this "global tour" that The Daily Mail are reporting seems like a stretch. I can't imagine them stepping foot in the US.

That's another thing that's puzzling me timing wise. Isn't that some mild slap to Noel, proudly releasing Liam singing one of "Noel’s songs" from touring their album on his own. Yeah that's actually another thing that makes me think it's not a reunion. Liam's releasing this song instead of any other Liam-sung rarity. When I learned he was doing it live, I got a feeling he was trying to make a statement about how he was the singer in the band. I got the same feeling yesterday. But this might be cynicism from all the shit that happened since 2009. Maybe it was a sort of hommage to the song itself. I dunno hearing Noel talking in the interview with John Robb he sounded well relaxed about it, maybe even a touch appreciative. Not words I'd ever have imagined associating with Noel and Liam in 2024 but there we go. I think things between are much better than they used to be. |

They've always sold very well well in some cities in USA. I wonder if they could do Coachella. The Roses and Blur had big spots at Coachella, despite neither making a dent in the USA at all. Both went down like a sack of dog shit though, so that could be a good reason for Oasis not to, they're seen as one song wonders by most of the public that know them there. But still, if Coachella asked Blur and Stone Roses, I can't see why they wouldn't ask oasis. I'm still doubting the reunion happens at all but if it does and they're going outside the UK, then I'm certain they'll do USA, even If just a few major cities. |

Is It just a money grab tour ?? no new music etc as we all no touring is the big money nowadays
or is It a permanate (semi) thing ...new album new music etc
If so is that the end of LG solo or NG solo (while it lasts)
no squire no more etc
all uk newspaper saying its happening now btw

Do we want some sort of comeback single to go along with it all? Highly doubt they would record a proper LP. Would be cooler if there was new music and a tour. And not some 1996 KISS reunion being just a nostalgic money grabbing act playing the first albums |

It will be amazing to see them live. But having seen them both solo many times, I think I'd be looking forward to new music more than a tour. I really hope it isn't just one big tour and then done. I want them back permanently.
