Personally I don't want this and also think it's never gonna happen so I'm in the same boat I've been in for 15yrs I’ve got a feeling it will next year for the MG anniversary, just don’t think they will be able to resist the financial gain involved. |

He's releasing a live DVD from his tour and he's taking everyone for a ride to promote it. I feel like it's obvious but I understand the excitement of hope. It ain't happening.

Noel's divorce is the driving factor here That and the fact that Liam road tested the idea with DM tour. Noel's always been paranoid about a reunion tainting the legacy. Liam proved the legacy won't be tainted, he showed Noel what an Oasis tour could potentially look like. |

Didn't Liam say something along the lines of, who will be singing it next year? The other rarities aren't really well known outside of us lot. He's been doing it all summer as well I'd imagine if there was a huge problem it would be have been raised by now. |

At first I was surprised the amount of coverage this is getting all across reputable British media.
But I think it's easy to forget how truly huge this band was. They were absolutely everywhere in Britain during the 90s. Truly era defining music that inspired thousands of musicians who have came after them.
Everyone wants them to get back together. Just the thought of seeing them on stage together again after everything is exciting.
Come on lads, get the band back together. For yer mum's sake.

My Man City-supporting hairdresser, who has hung out with Liam a few times through his son, who works in PR and is best mates with Debbie Gwyther, told me months ago the Gallaghers had reunited in secret. He wouldn’t knowingly lie, but I just assumed he or his son had misconstrued the situation, so I didn’t really believe it. Then I saw the interview Noel gave to John Robb recently, and how positive he was about Liam, reinstating the affectionate “Our Kid” nickname, and well… it seems within reach all of a sudden, dunnit?
And yes, being good sons and making up for Peggy’s sake is apparently the reason, with Debbie’s business nous and Noel’s divorce from Sara helping to get it done — if indeed it has been.
