Would smash fuck out anyvagina that hurt me or my siblings without a second thought and I don't know what I'd do without him. Don't appreciate how lucky I am to have wee Paddy until a read stuff like this 💚 Absolute best pal!
See if anyone has any wee story about their grandparents wanty share them with me please lol a love old people stories, especially when they don't give a fuck and just say shite hahaha.

Today has been a weird day. This morning it was snowing, and now it's sunny with very few clouds in the sky. And the snow barely accumulated.

Big week coming up.
Queen Mary interview early Wednesday morning (7am my time which is really difficult with the massive hangover I get with the sleeping meds!)
I’ve written notes on: How I grew as a person over the last few years, what I’m currently working on now, and the plan I will put in place prior to leaving for the U.K. if accepted back to QMUL and what I will do differently compared to my experience in 2014.
Otherwise, I’ve been distracting myself as it really makes me nervous. Luckily I’m accepted to Manchester, but London is London innit so I’d rather not fuck this up. Pressure. Fuck.

To keep the convo going about family, my mother lost her brother to suicide, her parents to cancer caused heart attack and stroke (75 and 69, and her great grandparents to insanity (according to Pa's compassionate leave request in the war, she was 'running out in her underwear.' Turned out she had been conked on the head by his brother Frank) and TB respectfully. The only member of her family to die early was her mother's brother from lung cancer caused not from smoking but from asbestos removal on a base roof.
OK that's enough of me rambling on

It's the memorial day of my dearest mum today. It's been 3 years, but she's always with me in my heart.
Thanks mum for being my mum and gave me this beautiful life. I can't tell you enough how proud I am to be your daughter.

I got 7.0 in two subjects, 6.5 in an other and 5.0 in the last one. What was the 5.0 one? Oral expression. Needless to say I was disappointed as I thought I would get at least a 6.0 . I think my articulation cost me some points, I talk too fast (even in french). By the way, if you want to pass the test, I must tell you it's rather strict. You can't bring your pen, paper (they give it to you), you can't go to the testroom with a pullover that has pockets, etc. I know it was to avoid cheating but all those things were a bit ridiculous tbh.

That's a shame. I also fear I fail the speaking test because I get nervous easily... I think I'm trying to get some beta blockers for the test. I used to use them for school presentations when I was younger but then I ran out of them and haven't bought more. The problem with many beta blockers is that it only reduces physical symptoms of anxiety but doesn't really affect the state of your mind so the nervousness is still there. A small amount of benzos would work much better probably but I'd need a prescription and they're very addictive so maybe it's better I don't use them.

Was worth the effort with the statement hey? Get your revision planning done. And remember, always have high expectations (not just for exams but in life too). Regarding the beta blockers, this worries me - maybe try some Rescue Remedy (Bach).

After that I've used them only for situation where I'd be nervous and they definitely helped. I think I ran out of them 2 years ago and even though I got new prescription for them before I joined army I never went to buy them because there weren't really any situations where I would've needed them. I've read some people use beta blockers every day but that wasn't needed for me. I just got terrible stage fright (and I want to be a musician lol) so whenever I was in that kind of situation I popped one pill and it would keep my pulse at reasonable levels.

Was just worried that you were gonna take it for the first time for the speaking exam, as you won’t have known how it would affect you.

Was sad seeing my mate like that. I skipped all classes bar the last one, which is really important and could not afford to skip, and stayed with him during the afternoon in the chapel where people come to pay their respects. Then his girlfriend arrived from Braga and i left since he was in good company after that.
I was kinda pissed off i warned the rest of the group of friends we are part of and none came there.

I've got a funeral to attend in a couple of hours and an important meeting for work afterwards.
I look like a warmed up corpse myself today. What a shite day.
