Manics, Disco Ensemble and Poets of the Fall playing in Finland next summer but it's almost 200km away and I have no contacts in that city...
Well, one guy (drummer) whose gig I was watching but I don't know him that well so it'd be weird if I asked him to sort me a place to sleep lol

I thought it'd be that. It was just Meg saying she hadn't done that to anyone since she was in school that threw me.

"Where do you see yourself in 10 years?"
I have absolutely no idea what I'm going to do with my future. I think this is both good and bad thing. It'd be nice to have some actual goals but then again, I like to keep things unplanned.
Moving to Scotland would mix things even more because after that there's a real possibility that my life becomes very "international" permanently.

Lol. I was delivering newspapers in the middle of fucking nowhere in some forest road and when I walked out of my car I suddenly started hearing lots of gunfire nearby (assault rifles). It was 5:30am when that happened. I thought what the fuck but then I realised the army base must be quite near and they're having a training somewhere nearby. Haha, it's -22c outside. Good luck sleeping in tents!! e. Well, sleeping in tents was actually the least bad thing... It was being outside for 20 hours per day multiple days in a row that really made me hate my life.

Extra large Weekend for me this week. I don´t have the only class i have on Thursday in February (because it´s a discussion group of the A Part of the class and i´m on Part B so my turn is next week) and Friday i never have classes all semester.
Also @driver7 it´s normal at your age to feel that. I was 17 when i left high school and while i studied Economics then and that meant my admission exams were Maths and Economics. I did all those tests with a doctor to see what i liked the most and all the bars were small, i did not have a special taste for anything. Economics/Law/BusinessRelationships/Management were the three highest bars though.
I did go to Management in a college in Braga (the three best public one after Lisbon and Porto, Coimbra is highly overrated these days in anything bar Engineering), and i thought that was my future, i even imagined working with my godfather in his accounting office and he kinda gave me that hint multiple times. First year went ok, can say i liked it, but i absolutely despised the second year. I even stayed an extra year but quit after that. I faced my parents head on with that, and i can say it was the most difficult conversation i had to them, but they were very supportive, they know i tried and they knew i was on borderline depression due to forcing myself to stay in something i did not like because of fear of reactions, and the feeling i knew my parents were proud of me being a Management student, since it´s one of the most prestigious degrees you can take, played with my mind a lot.
I took a year off after that, was a teacher to a social project for people above 55 years of age and i still am there but not as often due to college. It was one of the best experiences of my life, i grew up a lot, having a different sense of responsibility, of dealing with people, all added to what i am today. In the meantime i decided i wanted to enroll in the Applied Languages Bachelor with a Major in Business Relationships. I studied a lot for my admission exam and ended up with an 18 on a scale of 20. I entered and i have a average of 15,5 on that same scale on first semester. Did all the first semester subjects and can say i´m truly happy now. This college is great, living in my city is great once again.
I´m 23, all my mates work now, but none of them judges me for this, they were the ones that always supported me, including my parents. What matters is that you find what you want.

I actually over-prepared for the QMUL interview, leaving me feeling rather underwhelmed. Better than being under-prepared, though!

I’m a real fan of Bo Burnham, I highly recommend watching his act on either Netflix or YouTube. Very novel performer.
This is fucking genius....

Tiger snake bites are fatal. They enjoy climbing into cars. They are protected, and killing them attracts a $7500 fine. There's one in a major street of Melbourne today.
