This has to be Part I of Game of the Season (Part II being Arsenal vs. Liverpool again later...)
Must win game for both.
Should Arsenal win, not only will they have 4th place in their sights, but also 3rd
Should Liverpool win, they will be closing the gap on 2nd place Man Utd
A draw is not enough for either team--expect a cracking match!!
I'm even missing English last period tomorrow so i can get home in time for KO (Live on FSC, 3pm)...."Doctors APP" lol, what do i care, i have an A- in that class.
COME ON GUNNERS!!!!!!!
My (Bias) Prediction:
Arsenal 2-1 Liverpool ^Arsenal have a v good defence esp with a young and inexperienced back 4....they're prob is scoring this season, but I think they will have what it takes to get 2 in
^Liverpool, despite their 1-0 win, are struggling--1 win in the last 5 or 6 games is pathetic. They have a v good defence too, but can't score for their life...Cisse was called the "new Henry" when he arrived...FLOP....Fowler is a 90s has been, Crouch is incredibly bad--the new Heskey and Morientes is decent
The game will be won by the odd goal, 1-0 or 2-1...i'm sticking to the latter with Arsenal winning it....
LETS BE 'AVING YA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fuck off have arsenal got a very good defence But with Liverpool's shite attack they'll cancel each other out. 1-1 I reckon.

Someones done their homework. I guess that 7-0 boro thrashing was a fluke then? Or the 4 against Pompey? And the vast amount Henry has got? Arsenal's problem has been defence not attack this season. You know you're in the shit when you're relying on Pascal Cygan! Especially at left back. And to top it off yer playing people out of position and your best defender went awol. And the fact that most of them have been injured or on international duty. I think you've had 9 or 10 defenders ou recently. The Gooner defence has been shite this season, I've seen plenty of matches where your world class defenders have been ripped apart (Arsenal.v.Wigan anyone?). Its the defence that has been piss poor. Gooners for the intertoto ! hehe

Tez, in all due respect, ur WRONG do YOUR homework and check the stats: 20 goals CONCEDED in 25 matches 39 goals SCORED in 25 matches we're conceding 0.8 goals per game we're scoring only 1.5 goals per game most seasons it's reversed: last season--scored 87, conceded 36... hmmmm....THINK WILL YOU it's unlikely we will score 48 goals in 13 matches... If we had the offense like last season and other years, we would be challening now.... sorry m8, Defence has been great, esp with how young and inexperienced they have been Offence is hit and miss....it wasnt too long ago that Arsenal scored in 60 or so straight prem matches, now they struggle to score ala November: 3 goals scored in 6 games in all competitions sooo....A+ for my homework, you get a big fat F 1-0 or 2-1 to l'arse come tomorrow, Pool are in worse form, good to be playing them now i suppose this has all the elements of a classic... BRING IT

I forsee a 1-1 draw, useless to both and just great for Man U and Chelsea and there in is Liverpool and Arsenals seasons!. I believe Liverpool will rest a few players in favour of their HUGE FA Cup tie Saturday against the Mancs, then they go to Benfica next Tuesday so I feel Fowler and Morientes up front for the Pool. Arsenal can at least welcome back Toure and Eboue at the back for the two yewts Djorou and Larrson. Henry for the Gooners, Gerro for the Pool!

BRING IT Its called an opinion you numpty. You can spurt out all the figures you want, that isn't the only thing that counts in football you know. But if we are looking at figures, Arsenal have actually scored about 16 in Novemeber in all competitions. Maybe you meant goals against? And this past month they've scored about 14. Doesn't sound like too much of an offensive problem. The actual problem Arsenal have isn't really these 2 aspects at all (When they get back to full strength). This season they've missed experience in midfield, aka Vieira. They get pushed about too easily, like at Everton and Bolton. Get a replacement for him and I think Arsenal will be back to what they were like before this season started. So I think you'll be outplayed in the middle of the park tonight. - Scored 39 goals in the top table. Only the leading two, Chelsea and Manchester United have scored more? Not too bad. Oh and seeing as Liverpool have won 12 of 26 meetings, home and away, & 7of the 13 at Anfield, and that they won their last match, good luck.

Dude, no...just no... Cygan is shit: OPINION Arsenal have conceded less than 1 goal a game: FACT... Arsenal have the 3rd best defense in the Prem: FACT makes the connection: Arsenal's defence is good: THUS A FACT omfg, if you still fail to see it, then im done with 'aruging' with u...theres no argument even to be made!!! HAHA yeh ur right in respect to November....my bad lol fine then, lets look at December: Arsenal 0-2 Bolton Arsenal 0-0 Ajax Arsenal 0-1 Newcastle Arsenal 0-2 Chelsea Arsenal 2-2 Doncaster Arsenal 1-0 Charlton Arsenal 4-0 Portsmouth Arsenal 0-0 Aston Villa -- 7 goals scored in 8 matches 7 goals conceded in 8 matches now which seems to be the problem?? A++ for my hw, Z for your hw lol time to get some food ready and turn on Fox Soccer Channel it's gonna be a cracking game no doubt

Fuck me you're a right twat. Going by one month doesn't prove jack. But you're into politics and all that, so I suppose you like chatting bollocks.
At the top only Chelsea and Man Utd have scored more. Doesn't seem like much of a problem. Henry is the leagues 2nd top scorer as well..
Cygan is Shit: FACT. I've seen pub players that could play better than him. He's a liability, a donkey. The defensive version of Seba Veron.
"7 goals scored in 8 matches 7 goals conceded in 8 matches"
Now if thats poor attacking, then I'm going to say thats poor defending as well, they're equally important so they should count as the same.

ok so we lost
but 1 goal condeded against this liverpool side, with our young defense, is damn good
yet the offense has sucked AGAIN
Henry has scored 15 goals, only 3 of them have been scored away from home
Dude, ur just wrong....YOU DONT WIN GAMES IF YOU CANT SCORE

I thought you were done 'arguing'? Weeeeey! Arsenal totally outplayed, their defence was all over the place. Shaky as hell, miskicking the ball, or even missing it altogether, or even nearly scoring an own goal. Midfield was shite as well. You don't win games if you don't defend well, which they didn't tonight. Liverpool did great though. I really wish Stevie G would hand in a transfer request Top player.

GARCIA! Well done to Jens Lehmann who saved Arsenal from a repeat of the 4-0 drubbing we gave Arsenal 5 years ago. He was amazing, but Liverpool should have won by more. We outplayed Arsenal today. Our strikers really need help at the mo to remember where the goal is. Live4ever, the reason your defence conceded one goal was because of bad finishing and individual brilliance from Lehmann. Ronaldo might not spare you next week.
