Liverpool completly outplayed us. And yes, it could have been more than 1....

BUT it wasnt

Our defense was fine.

The problem this season lies within the midfielders:

-Pires: Underpeforming
-Ljungberg: Underperforming
-Reyes: i'm giving him 1 more season to prove that he is consistent, if this time next yr he hasnt...i say we sell the lad
-Fabregas: Amazing, but waay too young and small. He needs time. Too unrealistic to think he can play week in and week out in all competitions
-Gilberto: Crap...Vieira hid his suckiness. But now he has to become the leader in the CM cos Fab is too young, but he cant.
-Diaby: From what i've seen, v good player, but again too young, hopefully he will replace Gilberto next season

the Midfield is the crucial area.

They block balls reaching the opponents strikers
But also set up goals.

The problem isnt Henry, Adebayor, Persie, etc....it's the players listed above (mainly Pires, Fred, Gilb)...they're doing jack shit this season...

altho Ljungberg played well today

we'll our chances for 3rd are gone (i must have said that 20 times this season lol)...4th is slipping away, but we still have to play Spurs at Home...and thats a MUST WIN if i ever saw one...

there's still much to play for...

after all, its a transitional year

If we struggle to this extent next season, THEN i will be v concerned....1 bad season in 10 years does NOT make Arsenal a bad team, or AW a bad manager....

The defence is young but, a few rickets aside (Senderos is a good player prone to the odd fuck up) they have done very well, especially considering the state of the midfield.

Ljungberg - lazy fucker. Take the goals out of his game (which he's done this season) and he looks supremely average, like he was waiting for his new deal last year so he could take it easy, shag models and appear in magazines.

Pires - Totally off the boil. How he thinks he deserves a 2 year deal after this season's performances baffles me. Always the same shit - get the ball, sqauer it (probably lose it)

Gilberto - FUCKING AWFUL. Sell this twatbuckle.

Fabergas - our only midfielder who actually turned up last night. He needs protection.

Basically the senior players this season have totally let the side down. Arsene should drop the vaginas and let the kids develop together.
