Really digging the mono Shakermaker. So what's the deal with this version? I always thought the "Slide Up" mix released in 2014 was the Monnow Valley Version? Is this one the original take? Slide Up is just a different mix of the final recording. Monnow is the original recording. Coca-Cola lyrics and all. |

Neither my oasisinet or Amazon orders have shipped yet. As usual most people get a kick in the balls for pre-ordering.
I may as well have just gone to HMV in person this morning as only the cassette was exclusive to oasisinet.

Just listened to the thing. Far more interesting that the Chasing the Sun Edition. Listened to the Atmos mix also. Can’t wait for the WTSMG Atmos mix. The Atmos mix are on apple music ? There's no mention of atmos on my Apple music : edit: never mind, fount it ! |

I'll wait tomorrow to properly enjoy the Monnow Valley version & all the Sawmills outtakes after work. My vinyl won't come until Tuesday apparently, so the digital version will have to suffice. Digital does sound better than CD, at least when converting CD to mp3 in my experience. . CDs ARE digital. 💿 |

Up in the Sky Atmos Mix is HUGE. Liam's vocals are unbelievable.
Supersonic OMG. Its like you're in the studio watching Noel slowly scratching his string up in the intro.

I don't know all of this industry jargon, YP, MP. All I know is that Oasis can't get a record contract, they cannot get a record contract unless they take those tapes to the record company. And granted, the tapes themselves are a uh um oh, you own them, all right, but the magic that is on those tapes. That fucking heart and soul that they put onto those tapes, that is theirs and you don't own that. Now they need to take that magic and get it over the record company. And they're waiting for them, they were supposed to be there a half hour ago. They look like assholes, man. Let me explain to him in simple arithmetic. One, two three! Because you don't fuckin' get it! You give them the tapes. They get the record contract. They come back and give you your fuckin' money. Have you heard the tapes? Have you even heard them? They’re guaranteed a record deal. Their stuff is that good! God bless. |

There is absolutely no sense whatsoever in saying that mp3 are better than CD. MP3 are litteraly the same files that the CD but downgraded.
Digital can be better though, with Hi-Def lossless or Atmos. But then the format will not be mp3.

Digital rip of CDs without compression, with a good equipment, nothing can top that. I'm not that much into vinyl, except for hanging on the wall.
