Just listened to Sad Song with Liam. Its really good. Like a cross between Sad Song a and Take My Away.
Makes you wonder what else they're hiding from us.

The huge hype about the Reunion tour will boost the sales of the 30 Year Reissue for sure.
Curious about the first week numbers for this.
The blood records Vinyl alone will sell close to 15,000 units.

Still quite hyped for this one. Can't wait to hear the Monnow Valley version of DM. Me too! Really interested to hear what they did with Shakermaker and Live Forever. The slower version of C&A from Sawmills that Noel mentioned in that interview could be interesting too. |

Hope they release another vinyl box set of some type with all the LP’s , a book with it would be great, would be all over something like that.

Album is up in Dolby Atmos now. Apple Music exclusive. Also a two hour show from Matt Wilkinson.
People are starting to get their physical copies (no look for me yet) but new oasis stuff tomorrow all the same!

The new Dolby Atmos mix is absolutely sublime. This is what I wanted back in 2014. BoD, SA, C&A...nah, scratch it. Every track sounds great

So much depth without losing the spirit of the record or even the overall sound. It sounds like they’re playing in your front room. |

The Monnow Valley version of Shakermaker is… interesting. Very clean. Doesn’t have a vocal.
Well it does have Noel’s backing vocals.
Hard to hear it well because Matt Wilkinson keeps blathering on over it.
Wait, the vocal eventually kicks in! Man that intro is really really long. I wonder if they just removed it so he could talk shite over it.
Gah. Need it to be tomorrow.

I feel like this mix really captures the live sound of Oasis better than any other album or mix has previously. And so many fun easter eggs to pick up. "This is confusion, am I confusing you" swirling around in 360 around you. Liams falsetto notes at the end of "Lasagna" in Digsy's Dinner. Can't wait to sit down and go through it tonight. |

I was def expecting some bagpipes at the end of rock n roll star. Ha! Like the intro to Shakermarker from Mono. Live Forever slays per usual.
I wish Noel tossed on Coming On Strong, Lock All The Doors and I Am The Walrus studio cuts onto this reissue. Guess he has to save some stuff for the eventual anthology/rarities album.

I got my blue and marble vinyl today. Hopefully the pink vinyl which I ordered will be here tomorrow. That just leaves the Blood vinyl one and the rest of the stuff which I ordered off Amazon.
