This Sad Song is incredible.
I don’t think their music was ever more direct and outright emotional than around this period. If people like this - and want more - I’d recommend finding the Oasis: Undrugged bootleg.

Who’s doing the forensics on whether this is the same version from Supersonic doc? It is, I’ve given it a few listens , had a search for the doc and it’s the same vocals, there isn’t another version of Liam on vocals is there ? 100%, the version in Supersonic doc is a different recording. Vocal is different and guitars |

Vocal is different and guitars Sounds identical to me. Not measured it but maybe a small difference in tempo (maybe not though). |

Vocal is different and guitars Sounds to me like the Supersonic version is the raw unmixed tape version, and the recently released version is obviously mixed a lot better and also sped up ever so slightly. |

Enjoyed that interview in Sifters with John Robb, some good information about recording history, might be wrong but when they where talking about Sad Song and Liam recording it , sounded like they played a demo version of Noel singing it too from a cassette , didn’t sound like the released version.
