This should be interesting. Liam sounds so innocent here, and sort of bereft of the confidence he eventually brought to the actual album.

To me, it sounds like a different demo that we got in the Supersonic movie

Sounds so good! So much better than Noel singing, what were they thinking...

Gave me the chills this version, incredible stuff, think that is the version we got on Supersonic after another listen, who would that have been on guitar , if it was in Coyle's house ?

A beautiful version, so glad we've finally got to hear it after almost 8 years!

There is something about pre 1995 vocals from Liam. He’s so silky smooth. Voice of an angel. It didn’t last long once the calendar flipped to 1995 but in the early days he’s like from another world.

Will take a listen once I get back from work… sounds like it’ll be good based on what I’ve read

I don't know why they just didn't release it as the demo version on it's own instead of a lyric video which are always crap.

I listened to it on my phone, which is not the best way to do it, but I think I can actually hear the bass? Or is it some keyboard?

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say I wasn't as blown away as the Columbia outtake. Yes, it's an incredible piece of Oasis media that was the talk of legend, but the vocals aren't great... and they shouldn't be. His voice hasn't developed fully into what we hear on Definitely Maybe or the Whatever single.
If there was a recording in March of '94 or later in the year, I think it'd be better. Would it be better than Noel's vocals? I don't know. Noel's vocals do it for me.
I don't blame them for the switch at the end, but it's really interesting to hear a very young Liam (He just turned 20) do his take.
I like it, but it's not for me.

Who’s doing the forensics on whether this is the same version from Supersonic doc?

Who’s doing the forensics on whether this is the same version from Supersonic doc? It is, I’ve given it a few listens , had a search for the doc and it’s the same vocals, there isn’t another version of Liam on vocals is there ?

I agree mate, his vocals are quite rough to what they would become a couple of years later but it’s incredible to have officially from 92, love the guitar outro too. Still think Noel might suit it better after a few listens and they made the right choice.

After all that anticipation since hearing the snippet in Supersonic, I actually don’t rate that version at all lol. Much prefer the Acoustic Sessions version which is excellent.

Exactly. Just otherworldly talent - from both Noel's songwriting and Liam's vocals. An unbeatable combo.

Agree, its interesting in terms of their progression. Wouldve loved a more "raw" vocal,in a more def maybe 94' style. I prefer the noel version we got in the end. All in all, im happy with what we are getting here, as, intially i just thought "oh weve heard all these before" but these versions have all been interesting in their own way.
