These fan-submitted sessions are always AWFUL. People pick the worst questions that hardcore fans have heard a thousand times.
“So, like, are Oasis from Manchester??!!”

I'd ask something like, why did you choose Digsy's Dinner instead of Listen Up, Fade Away, Cloudburst or Alive? I'm not going to submit a video ha.

Anyone noticed they changed the tracks from the 2014 remaster to specifically say “2014 remaster” on Spotify? Whereas it used to only say “remastered”, could it be a sign that we’re getting new remasters for the 30th anniversary edition?, or maybe they’re just making way for future remasters

They confirmed it’s the 2014 remaster in the release information for the 30th, Will this be on Apple Music ? Can’t see it anywhere or any mention of it.

Columbia Sawmills Outtake up on Spotify NZ.
It's very cool, even features extra lyrics I've never heard before.

It's funny when people say that Liam has regained his old voice and sounds like he did in the '90s again.
It's commendable that he has slightly improved compared to about fifteen years ago, but he's far from his old voice.
This version of 'Columbia' reminds us of what old Oasis was - a band with limitless potential. Or at least it looked like that.
And the talk about them being the new Beatles wouldn't sound ridiculous to me at all if I heard a band like this now. The potential was enormous.
And Liam's voice sounded like a voice ready for great things.
Not only did Noel quickly fall into a songwriting crisis, but even if Noel had continued to develop as a songwriter and write more complex and better songs, Liam wouldn't have been able to keep up because his voice also became like Noel's songwriting - one-dimensional and boring.
I understand that some prefer his voice from the late '90s and early 2000s, but that voice and his singing only contributed to the band's one-dimensionality, limiting options and creativity. Also, that style of singing led to the later complete destruction of his voice.

Also, that style of singing led to the later complete destruction of his voice. He hasn't regained his old voice, he just looks after it and uses it better. He's developed a warm timbre and he's arguably a better and more flexible singer than he has been at any time since those days you mention.

Love the little adlib towards the end. Though not even the lyric video knows what hes on about I can't make out the 1st or 4th line at all, but the 2nd and 3rd are (I think): ...She's the biggest twat you've ever seen Sometimes I feel the wall...

Is the spoken word bit in the Sawmills version at the beginning of the final version? I swear I read something that the opening spoken bits in Columbia was taken from a show or a poem. I’ll see if I can locate it after work
