Think we’d have heard about a Shakermaker re-release today if we were getting one. im waiting till June 1st. If we don’t hear anything by then I think we’re not getting shit for the rest of the singles. Great shame, I personally prefer Shakermaker to Supersonic. Maybe SMS 7" next year?

I would also like a few Oasis Anthologies but I'm quite happy with this anniversary release. It's all about celebrating DM and all the B-sides didn't wäre a part of the original Album. So now we got an almost complete evolution history of DM + the long awaited Liam Sad Song. I think couldn't avoid the release after it was presented in the Supersonic movie but he will never release it as single, he's a jealous guy.

I don’t think anyone but Mark Coyle remembered it existed until he gave it to the Supersonic producers. Singles don’t exist any more.

Where did the Cigarettes & Alcohol demo on the Stop The Clocks EP come from? It’s from a radio session. It’s not a demo. Hit the North. Same as the Bring it On Down Live b-side.

Don’t modern day fans mostly dislike Shakermaker? I could see Live Forever getting re-released since it’s beloved by so many but “Shakermaker” was very of its time. Personally I love it, but I’m a stoner so… :-P

It remains to be seen if Live Forever and Cigarettes And Alcohol get released but I'll be surprised as it doesn't seem like they're going to release Shakermaker.

Just been going through all my archives in anticipation of this release, and it's really struck me just how much the ball has been dropped again on this release. There's an opportunity for such a great set of all this stuff through to the end of 1994 which could do justice to the incredible body of work Noel had pulled together during this period, but it's all so scattergun - different pieces on each release, bizarre omissions etc.
For those who might be interested in doing something similar, this is how I've pulled together my stuff:
DEFINITELY MAYBE (TWB, 2024)
DISC ONE: DEFINITELY (The album) 01: Rock 'n' Roll Star 02: Shakermaker 03: Live Forever 04: Up In The Sky 05: Columbia 06: Sad Song 07: Supersonic 08: Bring It On Down 09: Cigarettes & Alcohol 10: Digsy's Dinner 11: Slide Away 12: Married With Children

DISC THREE: DEFINITELY NOT (Didn't make the cut) 01: Alice 02: Reminisce 03: Life In Vain 04: I Will Show You 05: Take Me 06: Snakebite 07: Colour My Life 08: See The Sun 09: Must Be The Music 10: Setting Sun 11: Lock All The Doors 12: Feel The Groove (aka Better Let You Know)
DISC FOUR: MAYBE TOMORROW (Noel Acoustic Demos, 92-94) 01: Hello 02: She's Electric 03: Rockin' Chair 04: Going Nowhere 05: Don't Go Away 06: All Around The World 07: Hey Now 08: Bonehead's Bank Holiday 09: Some Might Say 10: Stand By Me

I absolutely love that Liam is bringing back the early Lock All The Doors demo on his DM tour, such a shame it's not included on the reissue along with other unreleased songs from that era
