After listening to the debut, do you want a follow up?
Yes.

Yes - preferably with a better song writer / lyricist. I love the feel of the album with his voice and that guitar, but the tunes are generally average and the lyrics are pedestrian at best and toe-curling at worst.

Why not? Another one could be good, could be rubbish. It’s no big deal if its not good.
Liam’s work rate suggests further work with Squire won’t affect his solo stuff. He’ll thrash out album 4 and possibly even a 2027 best of compilation before LGJS2

If they do...it needs to be more rock rather than bluesy.

LMAO That's like saying - I can see a liar is the best Oasis tune since The Masterplan 🤣🤣🤣🤣 The Roller would be amazing if Instant Karma and Nobody Told Me didn't exist, as it is it just sounds like an inferior version of those two songs but on it's own it's a good listen just very derivative.

Yeah, but I think if I had my way I’d want a Liam solo effort first. Finally get Nothing Nowhere out properly, on a strong LP preferably with more Aldred collabs, as I think he’s been Liam’s strongest co-writer.
After that another Liam/John effort would be class, especially if Liam contributed lyrically. But even if it came before, I’d still say yes.

Yes. I dont believe for a second John Squire suddenly wrote 10 songs. He's probably got more from all those years of inactivity. Lets go.
But it would need to be a bit more varied

Who the fuck would say “no” and why? I do. I really don't get into it. The songs feel like they don't have enough substance, but as a Beady Eye fan I got to hear that all the time back then. "I'm a wheel" for example...everybody goes bonkers for that one, but its the most standard blues pattern that ever was and I can't listen to it without having a boomer with a fedora playing blues licks in a youtube video in front of my eye. Liam sounds good on all tracks but it not even Liam could make these songs more than just ok for me. And I would listen to a album of liam reading cooking recipees over bagpipes.
