Anyone know yet if they did the album in running order, or mix it up? Thx Apparently they opened with JAR (which I gotta say I find a bit weird), so probably wasn't running order.

IMO they could at least do 3 covers. Beef it up a bit Still contemplating not going to Wolverhampton because of the time tbh Are you still on time to sell the ticket mate? Just asking, not interested in buying

btw 75£ for less than an hour set is not good For that money I'd expect at least a 90 minute gig. No excuse for such a short setlist given the combined large back catalogue of both artists.

Its the same with every product. As long as people will be willing to pay when price rises, why lower them ? We are part of the problem. (well not me because i dont go).
Then again, doing gigs like this will only their material is ballsy, no matter how high the price is.

I am looking forward to going tonight, but yeah, I'm a bit frustrated at the set length considering the price. But Jake Bugg is good so it kinda helps spread the cost. I would've thought 1 or 2 additional songs would've been do-able for Liam though

So they have said countless times that they'll be performing the album plus a cover...and now many people surprised about the 'only' 50 minutes show. Guys, you're hilarious. Always moaning, never enjoying! This sounds fucking AMAZING! You say it like it makes it any less worse 70£ for a 50 minutes set it's not acceptable, people gotta work a full day for that amount of money Some people will defend their favourite artist no matter what btw this has nothing to do with the quality of the gig, he sounded great and so did the band

And i find it a little weird, really. If you´re going to complain about prices, go ahead. Indeed i used to go to a lot of gigs, but since these crazy prices came along i virtually don´t go to NO ONE. So talking about prices and blaming to Liam&John is not fair, IMHO. They only have an album, 10 songs. They clearly stated that they´d be performing the album plus a cover. Ticket is expensive? 100%. Don´t go. Other people will...It´s the market. But not the Liam&John market. And as Andy said above, it´s our fault. I left this train some time ago.

They clearly stated that they´d be performing the album plus a cover. I don't count Liam responding to someone's comment on Twitter as "clearly stating" anything. Glad I didn't manage to get tickets to this one now, I love the album but€90 +fees for a gig under an hour long is insane. Beady Eye were the same but tickets were a fraction of this price so it was expected. Not knocking anyone going though, each to their own! Wonder will there be any backlash from fans? I'd imagine the majority expected some oasis/stone roses.

Last time was in 2019 to a Liam show in Madrid, but only because is my favourite artist. But i used to go to concerts regularly... And Liam said on twitter, yes. But there are a few interviews where they confirm "whole album plus a cover. No Oasis, no Stone Roses" Beady Eye shows were more than ten years before. Prices have risen exponentially over the last 2-3 years. And i hope this bubble explodes sooner than later

Liam and John have already said there's no oasis/roses songs numerous times. If they don't believe that, it's their fault. I find it funny that some people keep talking about the ticket price 10~20 years ago which will NEVER happen again.

Tickets really should have been £40/£50 tops considering the duration. I get why people are annoyed.
Smaller bands always charge considerably less. This myth of thinking that £70+ for a gig "is just they way things are nowadays" is total nonsense.
In 2017 when I saw LG in Brixton at one of his first solo shows I paid £27.50 per ticket! and he played 14 songs btw!

I find it funny that some people keep talking about the ticket price 10~20 years ago which will NEVER happen again. To an extent. But I've been to see DMA's plenty of times, for example, in bigger venues than the Barras, and the most I've ever paid is £35. It's obviously a different kettle of fish to LG and JS (not in terms of quality IMO but in terms of names), but £70 for such a short set - and it was always going to be a short set - is a bit of a rip off from the promoter.

And Liam have always said that he prefers short and tight gigs. But, yeah, throw in another cover plus "champagne supernova" and more people would be happy!

It's DMA. This is LG after Knebworth and John Squire from Stone Roses. As you've already said, it's totally different kettle of fish. Well, it would be good if they've done a few more covers. But Liam even said they're gonna do just one cover. He told everything beforehand.

But if you think that Liam or John or whoever band you think about are the responsibles of the prices, you´re being ignorant. Let´s talk about the promoters, about Live Nation. See the prices for the tours of all main acts around the world. And most of them playing in stadiums. Think about the gross for all these tickets. Insane! +100€ a ticket for more than 50k tickets... As i said before, don´t go. If shows were empty, prices would decrease. And yes, maybe artists could do something about it...but who would be the first?...
