Don't underestimate how necessary a 'yes' man was to fit in between those two and keep some peace. Imagine if they'd hired an 'artist' type with an ego as big as their own. Yes Men are a necessity for NG. People like the Staceys, Gem, Andy etc are more than happy to contribute largely to the songs and let Noel take full songwriting credit. People like Gaz Cobain, Real People…. Not so much and thus they are shunned. Squire would have been like more like these guys. Forget about The Real People. Gem and Andy made of Noel the songwriter he is. |

Right ? shine a light is amazing (for Beady eye level). Liam was slowly growing as a songriters, then he got shut down by people not caring. the second Beady album with some bside on it is a really good record. There were a few fans of this stuff. But. Beady had 1 album in them: Flick of the Finger Four Letter Word roller Off at the next exit Is right I’m just sayin Wigwam But most of these songs have problems. Lyrics. Is rite. I’m just sayin Production. Wigwam. Roller Awful song choices. Bring a light. Millionaire. Shine a light. None of these are relevant songs for any sort of crowd. Similar to what mine would be.. Flick of the finger Four letter word Soul love The roller The worlds not set in stone Bring the light In the bubble with a bullet Iz rite Wigwam Sons of the stage |

Fucking hell, I've been listening to music released in last two weeks by artists I follow on Deezer and just when I finished, I saw that Liam's new single is out and it is worse song by far from all song that I've listened 🤣
Ok, Kaiser Chiefs are worse.

Enjoying both songs so far. There is a big chance for it to be the best Liam solo album.
Let's wait of course to hear the remaining songs before saying that.

Yeah very catchy, summer song. I really like it and must be a first in recent history when almost everyone says they like it.

These songs are just as poppy sounding as the songs that some fuckers on here moan that they’re too pop sounding and we’ve got certain erm… journalists saying the LP sounds like Second Coming when so far it sounds like The Seahorses. I know we’re only two tracks in but I was hoping for it to be a bit more Roses sounding when what were getting is, to me at least, LG singing The Seahorses. These first two songs wouldn’t sound out of place on Do It Yourself whilst equally lyrically sounding like they could have been written by Bell/Archer/The other guys on Liams solo stuff.

Its a lovely song though I prefered the energy of just another rainbow. But I really love the sound of it and Liam sounds great. This really suits him and you can hear more passion and love in his voice, than on "come on you know". Really looking forward to the album as I think there might be a few surprised on there.
