Like several of yous im getting a sort of There She Goes/It’s Gettin Better Man mix. And Liam really does sound great vocally on this. Not nasal at all, and really bright on the chorus. Apart from wanting to make it clear it was something new/different, I can’t think of a reason why this wasn’t the first single. What if the songs are in an upward trajectory toward album release? JAR did well fwiw |

Doesnt sound 80s to me. It has that 90s charm, hopeful, light, sun. 80s songs are mostly depressing and bleak. Have you listened to Mersey Paradise? Certainly musically there is nothing depressing or bleak about it Yes ! i have. I dont know why i find 80s sound depressing. all that unnecessary reverb on guitar and drums. Its a feeling more than the songs or the theme of the songs. |

It's the closest thing to 90's Oasis we've gotten in the last 25 years. The melody, the voice, the instruments so full. And the sound mix is finally as it should be.

JAR did well fwiw Its not that i didnt like it, I gave it a thumbs up. Its just one that really doesnt strike me as a lead-off single. From there being not much to it lyrically, to the length of the solo, to being 5min 30. And you could be right about the upward trajectory thing - that happened with WMWN i felt. The one price it has is it becomes harder to win the interest of non-fans. |

I don't wanna spoil the Party, but....
First I have to say I all in all like this song, but I think JAR is better (not only because of the fact that I spent 20 € for the vinyl, customs!). When I first heard the chorus it reminded me of the infamous Beady Eye tune 'Iz Rite', maybe the darkest hour of BE and Liam. Not good for me that now after a few listens I'm still reminded to 'Iz Rite'! Poor myself me!

My opinion
I like Stuff like Bring the light better. If Beady were out today they be much bigger success. They had some really decent tunes.

Still sounds like garage band full of guys in their 50s trying to sound like their musical heroes from youth and they are using AI to write songs but AI did a bit better job this time.
It's ok, 6/10, it will be huge hit on Radio X.

I found! The beginning sounds a bit like "Be Here Now" (Song) while the chorus refers to the atmosphere of Whats The Story Morning Glory (album) and from a certain point onwards it becomes a sort of I'ts Getting Better man! I still can't believe my ears that something so beautiful could have happened!
9,5/10 for me!

It’s good all new music is good right. My opinion I like Stuff like Bring the light better. If Beady were out today they be much bigger success. They had some really decent tunes. You are for sure in the minority here. Beady was a muddy mess. 1/2 baked songs. Poor production. Andy Bell is a great songwriter - for Ride. Not Liam. Gem isn’t a good songwriter at all. Liam isn’t too great either. |

I’m just sayin Production. Wigwam. Roller Awful song choices. Bring a light. Millionaire. Shine a light. None of these are relevant songs for any sort of crowd. |

The topic of Deb Deb is the reason Liam is doing well. She manages his worst tendencies. Focuses him on the BIG prize. Beady Eye was a loser band. The odds and ends of Oasis. And I love Andy and Liam. But they are both way way bigger than BE. Gem level band. Deb got the songwriters. Build the momentum. Etc etc. she rebuilt his career. And how confidence. |
