great find, i think this will be a fun album. Sure, there will be some corny, cliche moments but i think it will be great. Fair play to liam for doing something different, he could have easily churned out another solo album and had huge success, think this shows his passion for music. |

Looking forward to this album tbh The last 5 seconds of this clips has such an "The Las + Beatles" vibe. This song has such a full sound to it. I don't even know why or if Liam should do another Solo record when you are getting glorious guitar from Squire and Bass and Drums like this. Everything sounds so much fuller. |

All I want from Liam are strong guitars, a wonderful voice, a catchy melody and rhythm and a mix of sounds done right! I loved his solo records and I also really loved the songs written entirely by himself. The work that needed to be done better were the guitars and the sound that the songs took on in the album version, which I never liked much. I've always preferred the live versions. I'm loving JAR and I'm loving this new clip from MTL. I hope the rest of the album has a sound of guitars, vocals and melodies that live up to expectations. I hope Nothing Nowhere gets released somehow because it's magnificent and I hope that in the future if Liam writes or collaborates on a fourth solo album that he has Squire play all the guitar parts. I'm glad there's another album planned anyway Gallagher - Squire. |

Surely they wouldn't wait 7 or 8 months for the album to come out? I'd say May at the latest They did with C’mon you know, didn’t they wait like 10 months from announcement to release, ridiculous. But how long between first single from that album and the album? I believe the first single was February and the album in May. That's pretty much the time frame most record labels will work with. |

JAR ain't a bad song but doesn't sound like (first) single material
This on the other hand sounds so promising
Big chorus, great guitars
This project has the potential to be the best thing a gallagher has done after Oasis
I'm so happy that Liam is involved in something that sound authentic and it's not about broadway or some shit non-sense like asking what's an european
p.s. how good is that chorus? so simple and yet so beautiful

I did say earlier in the thread that I reckon there will be good songs on the album. Squire wrote pretty strong melodies right into The Seahorses and his solo stuff, whether you liked the final product or not doesn't matter, he clearly was able to write a good melody.
Whether they're new ideas or stuff he has stockpiled over the years while not releasing music, there's got to be some decent tunes there, I'd be shocked if there wasn't.
This one sounds a good one.
