Artwork: nice idea, poor output. Why do not pay a capable illustrator or designer? Anyway, good vibes from the snippet. Thats my feeling I don't actually hate the style per se. I just don't think it's done pretty well. Hotel Shampoo by Gruff Rhys is a better way to do something not too dissimilar hotel shampoo even has the running times as prices. Its genius  |

That artwork is going to divide opinion.
As far as it goes compared to other artworks Liam has been involved with I’d say it’s better than HC, DBTT, AYW, WMWN.
I think it’s alright. Obviously how good the record is will change most peoples opinion of the artwork for the better or worse.

The fact that we’re getting another single this soon would surely mean the album date announcement should be coming soon. I’d expect July/August maybe earlier? Well there’s one more video filmed and ready. So again a couple of weeks after this one? Then really you’d expect the album, I think it’s coming soon. |

Cover art feels like Andy Warhol's pop art (Brillo Box, Campbell's Soup Can) and a bit like The Who (The Who Sell Out art work). The idea is cool, but the execution could have been better. The way the items are put together looks a bit messy
Little snippet sounds pretty good, looking forward to hear the song on Friday!

If they don’t stick to my timeline but go with 6-8 months from now well then that will require more singles. Then almost half the album will be out. I don’t see that happening. Plus DM tour is coming. |

The album cover is more interesting than anything he's used in his solo work. The execution is a bit shit though, looks like a 12-year-old made it or a... 60 year old made it on Canva
It would have been cool if they made the props for real and photographed it.

Guardian interviewer mentioned Mars to Liverpool when he was asked about best 3 songs from the album! April would be great but seems like a little soon with no discussion about it + didn’t Liam recently say in an article that they haven’t even finished all 10 songs yet only 8? They have a tendency to lag on their releases after singles so I’m not holding my breath the album is done and some press was already given an early listen. what Liam said was they demoed 8 songs together from their demo session and john did 2 on his own before LA recording session. |
