My opinion: No crock of Gold but (just) another rainbow. I like rainbows. Colourful volatile magical. Always a pleasure when one surfaces. Like this song.

Honestly, it's not bad at all. Sure the melody is a bit Beady Eye, the lyrics are sometimes WTF, the production is a bit too Beatles / Stone Roses / Oasis SOTOSG and Liam could have come up with a song like that on his own, and its a bit too compressed. but Overall, It's sounding nice, its fun.
I enjoy it for what it is. It goes completely all over the place after the melody and that bit of madness makes the song.
It's a "band" effort, something i've always asked from Liam, so I'm not gonna complain. Well done. Thumbs up. 7/10.
For an album, it needs stronger songs though.

It’s alright, nothing amazing in my opinion. But he’s doing something different so I respect Liam for that

I like it, of course! Shame they could not smuggle "Richard of York gave battle in vain" into the lyrics.

Nicely psychedelic with a 90s twist. Rather disjointed on first listen..but pretty decent tune. Liam singing the colours made me laugh though as seems shoe horned in and a little bit shit.

Weak song with weak melody.Guitar solo doesn't save. Such music was relevant 50 years ago and has long been outdated. John Squire is a technically good guitarist. he hasn't written a good song in 30 years

You know how the Gallaghers were always going on about making a psychedelic rock n roll record in the 00s, but it never turned out like that. This is what that could sound like. 60s psychedelica crossed with Stone Roses sound. I quite like it.

Listened a few times now and I don't think it'll be one I'll be revisiting much I have to say (sadly).
I think the whole song should be at least a minute shorter, the solo goes on too long and it concerns me that Liam's vocals are almost becoming a parody when they are this aggressive and up front in the mix. Yes, Liam's voice is something I wanna hear, but give me more something like Worlds in need rather than this.

It’s got me concerned with the album because I feel like John has heavily influenced the songs (obviously he’s wrote most of them) and all the songs will be like this, lots of guitar, lacking melody etc - I feel like this may have been a mistake on Liam’s part to agree to do something with someone who hasn’t done anything in 30 years. But I’m happy to be proven wrong

I love how since Christmas Eve we've basically been delivered a 00s era Oasis style single.
1. Liam sung single 2. Noel sung b-side 3. Cover song

I guess that was a pleasant listen, but I'm not really seeing a whole album here...I mean, where else do you go with Liam and Squire other than 10 more songs that sound like this? I don't expect 10 songs like this. Or rather I hope not. Squire in terms of his actual writing has been somewhat versatile. The songwriting on the 2 roses albums is pretty different. Then his style of song changed again in The Seahorses changed. And then his solo music sounds nothing like the previous 2 bands. So he can definitely mix it up with his writing but that was all a long time ago too. I just hope the thought process behind it isn't writing a load of half baked ideas, stick down some instrumentation a bit reminiscent of Oasis/Roses/Beatles etc just as a backing track for Squire to shred over and a bit of Liam singing over. That's what this sounds like rather than people who have sat down and crafted an actual song first. Maybe this is a dumb question but has it actually been confirmed that this isn't some kind of standalone single after all?

Yes, this It is enjoyable. A pastiche of Stone Roses and Beady Eye (yes, I mean that in a good way!) that kinda works.

Must be an alien here, but i could be listening the instrumental part FOREVER! Even it´s too short!!!
Song and melody are decent enough and Liam delivers an strong vocal part. So thumbs up for me. Waiting for the album!

Sounds good, Liam sounds really good but that part before the solo, that fells a bit like the Who feels a bit weird, like a rip in the song. I'm mostly into neo psych so I dig this stuff but the guitar solo licks before the real solo comes in are a bit out of place so ehow. Lyrics are okay and its a psych song so there can be childlike lyrics anyway IMO. But soundwise a huge step up from COYK for me and looking forward to more. But it seems like, that, as much as I would love it, there is barely anything the gallaghers do that really tales me by my gand and says "lets go".

Bonehead said he's heard the album, Liam has said it's an album So I guess that's about as good a confirmation we'll get until there's an official release date. I'm sure some journalist also said he's heard the album, I think John Robb said so too.
