Honestly I think it's pretty good. I wish it were summer, so I could blast it while drinking beer on a sunny afternoon with my friends

Sounds like The Seahorses, which is fine.
The master however is extremely hot, I'm listening to it on Spotify now. It's nauesatingly loud and crunched. Let the track breathe for goodness sakes!

I really like JAR.
Liam sounds great. Squires guitar is mental!
It has the baseline of Rain by the Beatles plus bits of The Who influence in there for sure too.
What's not to like?!

Had high hopes but does nothing for me. Best part was the guitar solo.

There’s no complete tune that drives me, but red orange sticks with me. It can actually serve as a hook line?

I dig it. This is probably what Beady Eye "wanted" or "thought" they sounded like in their own heads but never ever successfully pulled it off. Nice guitar riffs. Remember those? Noel use to be famous for them.

Are Liam and John doing any radio press on Friday? Would love details or announcement of the official album.

Really at the end of the day it's a proper cool track that you don't get these days. That guitar screams of fields of summer keg parties. 1968 vibes
Squire really delivers

Liam is 50. I'm not expecting these guys to walk on water or move mountains. They've already done that shit 25-30 years ago. I just want cool/interesting tunes.

Squire tears it up. I like this.
Not a fan of the fade out, though. Deserves a much more dynamic ending.

I like it. The solo is face melting and the music is cool.
The colours bit is awful but other than that it is a really cool song

Hopefully we can get hold of a promo instrumental version and use it to mix the vocals on the colors bit out. Unfortunately instrumental promos of new Noel or Liam albums don't seem to freely circulate in fan circles these days as much as they used to. Or maybe they're just not being released at all?

Getting slight jam-band vibes (Phish, Grateful Dead), like this song could easily go on for 45 minutes live with endless guitar noodling…
A nice, light, airy listen — but still not sure I see a whole album here, without it all sounding the same.

Good to finally here Liam singing proper songs again. This is exactly why Liam should be in a proper band and not this nonsense of using hired guns to write and produce his songs for him.
As other people have pointed out, Squire is a monster. Mid 60s Beatles vibes. The only thing it is a missing of course is that melodic hook in the vocals...
Imagine how epic this sort of shit would be with a decent hook in there. Eugh. A boy can dream. Get Noel on the phone now before it is too late!

Noel use to be famous for them. This would have done absolutely nothing more for Beady Eye than they achieved. They had better songs than this. Not to say it's bad. It's decent. I think the chorus should be longer and less solo. Doesn't need Liam naming the rainbow either.

Lyrics let it down unfortunately. Had great potential, and great performance but it's just meh do to that. And I say that knowing Oasis lyrics were often nonsense, but within the melody they worked.

I guess that was a pleasant listen, but I'm not really seeing a whole album here...I mean, where else do you go with Liam and Squire other than 10 more songs that sound like this? I don't expect 10 songs like this. Or rather I hope not. Squire in terms of his actual writing has been somewhat versatile. The songwriting on the 2 roses albums is pretty different. Then his style of song changed again in The Seahorses changed. And then his solo music sounds nothing like the previous 2 bands. So he can definitely mix it up with his writing but that was all a long time ago too. I just hope the thought process behind it isn't writing a load of half baked ideas, stick down some instrumentation a bit reminiscent of Oasis/Roses/Beatles etc just as a backing track for Squire to shred over and a bit of Liam singing over. That's what this sounds like rather than people who have sat down and crafted an actual song first.
