Took me a long time to get Second Coming but I love it now. Driving South and Tightrope are favourites. Driving South is immense and a stand out tune on any playlist |

Now that we know that Rainbow has a "Waterfall" feel to it I played back the small clip and you can now tell it's heading in that direction. The picture becomes a bit clearer. I'm definitely putting my money on Baggy Drums for this one. 100% |

If this album is even half what we're hoping, 2022-24 is going to be a hell of a three-year span for Liam. Knebworth shows, DM tour, supergroup with a proper rock album. All this from a guy in his 50s, decades after his heyday? We're pretty dang spoiled.

If this is as rock heavy / baggy Stone Roses influenced as the apparent Guardian twonks recon..well happy days!!! |

NN def sounds like a Simon penned song Aldred has distinctive sound and Nothing Nowhere doesn’t sound like his song, not lyrically not melodically imo NN is a kinda Beatlesque/lennonsque ballad, not an aldred type of ballads. I think it’s mostly Liam+Wyatts help. Like Once |

Nothing Nowhere will be on his next solo album surely. That song is just to good not to be used. The instrumentation after Liam sings "You better run, from the gun" is one of the best things I've ever heard.

The instrumentation after Liam sings "You better run, from the gun" is one of the best things I've ever heard. It’s another one of those things that just boggles the mind thinking about what reason they had for not putting it on COYK. The only reason I can think is they felt it’d get lost in the mix of the other songs and not reach its full potential, but then throwing it out on Twitter (even IF it was a spur of the LG moment thing that he got in trouble with DG for) and letting it be out in fairly bad quality for years online isn’t something I can see helping the song at all. Once it comes out interest will be mostly gone for the fans other than it’ll be nice having it in good quality (which will obviously start discussions regarding how the mix is worthless), unless what got put out last year was an early mix / demo and the future album version will be quite different. In which case half will hate the new version and we’ll see thread upon thread shitting on the producer. Can’t wait for it to be released! |

I fell in love with the early version and the album version was heavily over produced imo. |

Finally listened to Squire’s debut from top to bottom. First time ever. Thanks The-Ghost-Dancer. Squire’s singing voice reminds me of the lead singer of Cotton Mather. In fact so much of this record sounds like a late 90s Mather album. Like others have said, Joe Louis and Shine A Light are highlights. Some of the songwriting on the album is a little thin and a tad cliche but some of it is solid. Nothing earth shattering. I've climbed the mountain

Staggering home to a loverIs an awesome opening to a debut album in my opinion. |

He's just asking for it and putting more pressure on the album and asking for more criticism. Just say it's "Really Good and I'm proud of it" lol. It's almost as bad as when Noel said "Stop the Clocks" is the best Oasis song He'd ever written before it was released. |

Tbh the second Liam said that I switched off and immediately realised it's just standard Gallagher hyperbole, I think the only people who are genuinely likely to believe that his album will be better than Revolver are either insane or newer fans who don't realise it's never worth taking him 100% at his word |
