Took me a long time to get Second Coming but I love it now. Driving South and Tightrope are favourites. Tightrope is great. It’s not a bad album at all, it’s just not the debut. I loved the first, I was 15 when it came out, and just couldn't take to SC as I was expecting a copy of the debut. Probably only the last five years I've really got into it. Would still put the first ahead because of the teenage memories associated with it but it's close. |

As a diehard Stone Roses fan, this is fantastic news! I must admit that I haven't been this hyped on any of Liam's previous albums.
Having Squire on board also results in artwork where someone has actually put effort on. Yeah, the single cover is a bit minimalistic but quite on line with Squire's other work in 2000's.

I hope that when the new single is released in January we'll also get all the new album info as well but we'll see. I’d imagine the album won’t be all that far away. Liam seems pretty busy in the summer if there gonna do some gigs it’s surely going to have to earlier than that? |

They really needed to self edit “Breaking Into Heaven”. A cool title and guitar work but the first 4 and a half minutes is worthless. It’s a long drag to start a highly anticipated album.

I wonder will be Nothing Nowhere on this album. Iirc he posted it before Knebworth so I assume JS wasn’t involved so I got the feeling it won’t be.only songs they both worked on

NN sounds like a Simon aldred song to me. Think he'll keep it in his pocket for his next solo album, whenever that might be. If this supergroup takes off could be a while. Might depend on how much john squire wants to be on the whole treadmill again.

Now that we know that Rainbow has a "Waterfall" feel to it I played back the small clip and you can now tell it's heading in that direction. The picture becomes a bit clearer.
I'm definitely putting my money on
Baggy Drums for this one.
