With cloudburst Liam is really going for it But I don’t know if the key is gonna last the whole tour When did he ever try and sing anything in that register ? Since mid 90s
I was thinking the same. He really went for it last night.
I hope his voice holds up.

Most places that try to "officially" post a setlist (e.g. setlist.fm) will treat the first act to release a song as the original artist, and therefore anyone else who plays it is covering the song.
So for example even though Bruce Springsteen originally recorded Because the Night first, Patti Smith released it first so it shows as a Patti Smith cover if Springsteen plays it. As a general rule it makes sense, I don't think it's worth getting too wound up about it, most people with any interest will know (or easily find out) the history of Lock All the Doors.

I have a Matrix of the Paris gig, IEM and audience and it sounds like a spot on soundboard tbh. Has this been put in the boots section mate? Not to my knowledge. I got it from a torrent site named after a coin... To be respectful to the taper, they've asked not to share without permission. I have requested permission, will keep you posted.

Great setlist but am I the only one disappointed he didn't play "Alive" ? I love that track, thought it'd be on the setlist along with "Cloudburst" & "I will believe". After reading the setlist I thought this is the best example of how difficult it is to satisfy everyone when it comes to setlists. In a tour where we are getting so many rarities, I also do feel we are missing Listen Up and Alive (my favourite Oasis song for a very long long time!). I think this feeling is also due to the fact this could have been the only and last chance of hearing this tracks live (especially Alive). Having said that, I'm flying from Italy to see him in Manchester on the 28th and I'm sure this is going to be one of those night we will remember forever. Maybe he will play Alive during the last night of the tour!

Hearing peoples experiences getting me even more excited about Manchester. A little sad that Listen Up didnt get played, as its my personal favourite and Id been aching to hear it on this tour. Fingers crossed they do a bit of swapping the b-sides during the tour to keep it surprising.
Cool that its gotten some good press though. 5/5 in the Telegraph and Daily Record, plus 4/5 in the Guardian. I really wasnt sure what to expect with them, as Knebworth 2022 got mostly positive reception but some papers like The Times did blast it as lame nostalgia. And this is arguably just as nostalgic.

I have a feeling he and Bonehead will swallow their pride and dust off Take Me when they play Manchester. If they're playing I Will Believe and Cloudburst then surely it's only a matter of time.
Side note - how on Earth did cloudburst not make it onto Definitely Maybe?!

‘Listen Up’ really should be played, top 10 Oasis song. Líam might be struggling with the pre-chorus.
God bless.

Step Out and I'm alive should be flipped in for I will Believe or Lock All The Doors...
Surely LG has a few more surprises in store

Everyone has songs by their favourite bands that aren't universally liked by the broader fanbase but they just love for some weird reason and Lock All The Doors is mine, both versions, I've loved it ever since the demo leaked and I really like what they've done with that rough demo here. I was already excited to see the gig on the 11th but knowing I'm going to get to hear something I've always wanted to hear but never in a million years thought I would makes me so happy. I'll acknowledge it's probably not a great song objectively and Noel's version is very dad-rock-y but for some unexplained reason I just love it you have no idea how happy I am that it's getting played on this tour.

What a great set list and I wasn't expecting Lock All the Doors either. Liam is certainly the one who brings out the surprises and not Noel. I was dubious when this was announced..but boy what a great surprise setlist with my fav b side from the era - I will believe. The while experience must have been emotional and electric I like I Will Believe but my favourite b.sides from that era are Cloudburst, Listen Up and Fade Away.

LOL that is my feeling also. Both my dates are for the end of the month. Hope he's still audible by then!

I’m really resisting reading this thread. I’ve only read the last message above mine. I’m so, so excited for this gig. I’m going on Friday and Monday now.

As much as I want to hear Headshrinker, save it for the WTSMG 30th Anniversary tour next year along with Step Out, The Masterplan etc...

Man. Liam's back on top of the world. So cool. This setlist is literally amazing. I feel like he is actually catering to people like us on here! It's kinda cool tbh. Lock all the doors? Damn. That clip posted a few pages ago. Mega. Here's the full thing if you haven't seen it! Liam absolutely nailed it Fantastic. I realise it is different to the final Noel released version, BUT it shows how that raw guitar sound mixed with Liam's vocals turns a bland dad rocker by Noel into something amazing. This show must be one of the best things Liam's ever done. Fabulous setlist, a dream one for the hardcore fan, the band are sounding great and Liam's vocals are spectacular again.
