I'd rather have the brothers on good terms than to get back together. Oasis doesn't need to reform.

- It'd just be neat for Liam and Noel to share a stage again, and to have their relationship repaired to that degree. - I would freaking love to hear Liam singing some of the stuff Noel's been writing. - I never got to see them the first time around.
I'm not looking for any kind of permanent thing, but an occasional short tour and some collaborations would be phenomenal.

I think it's hilarious that those who don't want to see them perform together again would be the first ones to go apesh*t the moment they hear Liam with his healed voice and Noel harmonzing on Slide Away or Stand By Me. I want Oasis back cause simply they'll sound amazing if they were to do it now. Now if you asked me in 2013, I wouldn't think so.

Well obviously, in a world of unicorns and fairies, if Oasis were back in that form and were having as much fun as they did in the 90's, of course most of us here would go apeshit. Except that's not the world in which we live. The moment has passed. We're getting Noel's quality songs and sonic explorations and Liam's still being the rockstar he is with Bonehead by his side and can still do gigs like Glastonbury! It's the best situation for fans without the drama. Just the music! Like a lot of others said, it would be great to see them speak again and even playing at each other's gigs once in a while. But Oasis is dead and that's just fine. We don't NEED them to reform.

Because they had just gotten back on track with DBTT and DOYS and were probably going to continue that trend. Just because Noel went on to create a bunch of good solo music and Liam has gone on to have a bunch of successful solo albums does not mean every Oasis fan would not want them to reform. Like the singer from the 1975 said, nobody would go to a Liam or Noel gig over an Oasis gig.
Also, it's pretty clear if they reformed we would get less "going through the motions" from the brothers.

Because it’s kinda annoying that some fans just have to declare every time that they doesn’t want the reunion/“it’s not gonna happen you fools” and I like to be contrarian sometimes

"Greatest Hits Tour" here we come, to fill Gallagher's bank account and to make our wallet lighter again and the arena's/stadiums filled with kids who were not even born yet when they were together or even when they broke up. Seriously, I'm not up for the reunion. Never wanted, but you never know because life is strange, so are the Gallaghers.

I'm saying at this point in time if it was to happen, there's no reason at all to not be happy about it. No I understood, I just mixed my response to you and what I would have written in response to the OP. In that regards, you said you thought it was hilarious that those of us who say we don't want a reunion would be happy about it. So I wanted to point out that it's more than likely we'd be buying tickets to the gigs along with a poster and a t-shirt. But for some of us it's not something we wish would happen for the reasons I explained. One doesn't negate the other is all.

Definitely, it'd be great.
They've done their solo careers now, 3 odd albums each or whatever it is. Good run for both.

Like the singer from the 1975 said, nobody would go to a Liam or Noel gig over an Oasis gig. That's actually a very good point. Because it’s kinda annoying that some fans just have to declare every time that they doesn’t want the reunion/“it’s not gonna happen you fools” and I like to be contrarian sometimes Why is it annoying? It's as valid an opinion as those who want the band to come back. Since 29 August 2009, we've been hearing fans claim they want their band back. I don't find it annoying. This is a fan board and people are fans in different ways. In my case Oasis were one of the biggest influence in my entire life and I'm never going to deny this. Not wanting a reunion doesn't mean we're any less fans.

I'd only be keen if it was with a new album. Liam singing new Noel songs in the vain of his David Holmes work would be incredible. I don't see how people wouldn't want to hear that.

Ever since they’ve split I’ve been firmly in the not wanting a reunion camp. I think it’s because I saw them on the HC, DBTT and DOYS tours so I saw the demise first hand. The DOYS tour was truly awful.
However I’ve softened my stance slightly and now would be quite excited by the prospect. If given the choice, I’d still say no because I think Oasis’ legacy has improved so much since they’ve split but hearing Liam singing the way he is with the lads behind him would be pretty awesome.
That said, I do bloody wish Liam and Noel would just get back on speaking terms at least.
