This isn't good. UK's cuckoos are unable to adjust migrations to keep up with climate change. I know that they've been in steep decline for a long time now.

I've always wondered if animals actually dream at all. I read that scientists believe that when octopuses change their colour they're dreaming.

I never knew this before but elephants are actually scared of bees. Elephants are wonderful creatures and bees are just amazing little creatures.

You learn something new every day and animals all have their own little ways. I think that domestic cats don't like water.

Some sad news those European bee-eaters who came to the UK to breed haven't been successful but it's not known why. However, they haven't left so they might try again and if they do let's hope they're successful the second time around.

The thing is though these beautiful birds aren't native to the UK so really they shouldn't be here.

I never realised that there's actually a species of a frog called the leopard frog until I read about it. Apparently it's not known to science and it's rare.

A three legged bobcat has been spotted in Florida. It's not known how it lost one of its legs but it seems to be coping well.

Avocet chicks have hatched in Devon for the first time. Sadly these lovely birds are on the amber list of UK birds.

The problem with these heatwaves we keep getting is that it interferes with insects and they're thought to kill fish in rivers. Wildlife can't always cope with it all which is not good at all.

Apparently great white sharks were once kept in captivity but didn't fair too well and suffered. Well, so do whales and dolphins they suffer terribly too.

I'm hoping what I saw at Angle Park wasn't a trainer hitting a poor greyhound in the head at the boxes which led to it being euthanized. What did that poor pup do?

So Tory MPs say that they support swift bricks to help declining birds like starlings, swifts and swallows etc. If that's true then let's hope that they don't go back on their word like they usually do on these things.
