Today is world turtle day.

I saw that lovely rabbit at tea time outside my kitchen window. I'm glad that it's still around as I hadn't seen it for a good few weeks.

Those two lovely doves are back outside mine. It's always nice to see them.

This is not good, sharks are more in danger of going extinct than first thought. Sadly though, this isn't surprising.

Some good news, the second reading of the trophy hunting import ban has passed through the Lords. However, it's still got to pass the final stage yet before it can become law.

There's a new wildlife channel on Freeview (not that there was any on there before), however it's a bit disappointing.

In today's paper there's a double page article about the dark side of keeping whales and dolphins in captivity and it's just horrific. And, sadly these sort of places have doubled in the past few years in China.
Whale And Dolphin conservation are fighting to end these sort of places for good and I support them all the way.
