I don't see why they wouldn't do anniversary editions of all their albums tbh. I mean, why not? There seems to be a good amount of material for all of them. Demos, sessions, rarities, live stuff ... they know the fans are going to buy it... easy money.

I've said it more than once that I would have loved oasis to release an old fashioned double album. DBTT would have been great with the non album tracks mixed in with the original tracklisting.

I think we'll definitely get deluxe editions of the 21st century albums, as Noel is clearly happy to make money from old rope. I expect covid may have just put a temporary spanner in the works, and then Knebworth kind of had to come out in 2021 to cash in on the nostalgia.
The 21st century albums though, don't seem to have widespread mainstream appeal to the same extent, so they don't have to release them in anniversary years necessarily, like how we got BHN in 2016.
2023 - SOTSOG 2024 - HC 2025 - DBTT 2026 - DOYS
That would keep fans happy, and money rolling into Noels bank account for the next few years.

As much as Iβd love deluxe album releases I believe Noel doesnβt have the time or interest. Also after reading some really informative posts on this forum about bands access to their master tapes and the way they are stored it appears it would take a lot of work to get everything together for a decent release which would keep us fans happy.

I can never understand why Oasis never released a double album as it would've been great if they had. But maybe they or Noel just didn't want to.

The fact that so many tunes banged around for years and ended up coming out on Beady Eye, NGHFB releases means it's a probably gonna be left alone.
Added to the fact that it's a few more publishers to deal with (Andy, Gem and Liam's penned tunes) and you've a lot more effort for what is gonna be a smaller share of the pie. Added to the fact that you dropped to one b-side per single, snd Liam was doing less singing on tunes he didn't wanna work on- the vaults may be a bit emptier than you'd think for this era.
Definitely not as much could be done with the 3 early albums.

Don't forget Noel only wrote half the songs on the last 3 albums so there is less of a financial reward there. Perhaps that's why Liam dismissed Noel's pitch for a 00's best. Because it watered down Andy, Gem and his contributions to prop Noel up financially. Proper conspiracy territory there. Ignore it haha

Definitely not as much could be done with the 3 early albums. Actually I think there's more scope for good studio material for the latter albums. Sure, not as many b-sides but for the later albums the band often had four different songwriters making demos. Noel in particular didn't seem to have that confidence he had for the first three albums so instead of quickly crashing through the recording sessions and recording things in a couple of takes it seems they often tried different arrangements for songs before settling on a final version. Technology had moved on quickly and I suspect there's alot more stuff they have on CDRs and home tapes and hard drives. By that stage they may even started keeping hold of the master recording tapes themselves.

if any album going forward gets any kind of anniversary treatment after we skipped SOTSOG, i will probably cry. We've already heard all the leftover tracks and demos from those sessions, plus the album is already mixed really well so it doesn't need any kind of remastering so as much as I like that album I don't see the point in a re-release. There's still loads we haven't heard from the last 3 albums though. plus from a business side it's much easier to say to causal and non fans, hey, remember Little By Little/SCYCO/Songbird than it is to market songs like Go Let It Out and Gas Panic because they didn't connect to a broader audience in the same way.

Don't Believe The Truth and Dig Out Your Soul sorely need a remaster/remix
