Is it me or is the Oasis management getting worse these days? I mean they can do so much better than releasing stuff that we don't want or need.

Can't imagine the staff are paid much - they might even be getting in freelancers for a few weeks to look after big Oasis reissue releases. That's the issue I guess of not being on a major - they're more reticent to put a big budget behind these things or put more resources into it.

Yeah, you're right but even so they can do a lot better than this and give us something what we want.

Perhaps things will change if Noel decides to sell the rights to the oasis back catalogue, then we may see more releases of material we would like rather than a picture disc

All these people asking for Gmex??? 1. It's literally one of the most boring gigs from that tour. 2. We've had it for 25 years!!! Give us something new!

The Gmex gig has always been one of my favourites from the Be Here Now tour and always will be. But I think that we're asking too much for a official release of it or anything else for that matter.

This tweet probably means sod all but I would take a GMEX release in spite of the first night at Earls Court, Westpoint Arena and the second night at the SECC being better gigs just to get a HD/remastered version of Don't Go Away from that gig. I would also love to see the first night because as the second night is great I wonder what the first nights like

I love GMEX and frankly I'd love to see it get a proper release. I know it's been around for years but the audio quality isn't exactly fantastic and a video quality upgrade would be great to have too (I don't agree that we're asking too much though because I mean... this is Oasis. We deserve so much more than what we're actually getting and above all they merit more too, it's not like they're a barely known band)

Do we really think they are going to announce a BHN live album in 2 weeks? That would be aggressive as fuck for them.

Why would anyone expect that? I think we're just gonna get tweets like the one above.

I remember recording the whole gig off Radio One at the time and then later buying it on video and cd. I still have them somewhere. But a blue-ray version of it would be great. However, I would be very surprised if it ever happened.

Do we really think they are going to announce a BHN live album in 2 weeks? That would be aggressive as fuck for them. Apparently one of the BHN concerts has been remastered for blu-ray and was ready to go when Oasis management realised there was a legal problem. Press release from Oasis Management - "Oasis fans are very passionate and our research shows they love seeing that "fan experience" shown on the screen more than even seeing the old concert and tour footage. Last year we released the Knebworth Concerts complete and uncut on blu-ray only because they came with an accompanying documentary featuring interviews with fans and we know those fan interviews were the major selling point. We decided to do something slightly different for the Be Here Now tour and invited fans to send us new videos of themselves singing songs from the album and we were going to insert those performances into the actual Oasis concert footage. It was a radical, bold new idea but very late in the day it emerged that there were copyright issues with presenting something like this. We decided that if we can't do this properly for the Be Here Now tour then we shouldn't release it at all. As a result this Be Here Now tour retrospective has been postponed by ten years until the next appropriate anniversary. It's all about honoring the wishes of Oasis fans really and we know they'll support us in this move. The last thing they want is just some old concert remastered and restored and presented uncut. If that was the kind of thing they wanted we could be releasing stuff on a weekly basis on the Official Oasis Website!"

You think you could provide a link to that press release? You are taking the piss right. There's no way this real lol That's why I asked to the link for the press release. Those comments sound so gobsmackingly stupid that on one hand, it could be real. On the other hand, plenty of gullible people like myself. I laughed my ass off reading the post, but then I started to worry...
