I tend to think he’s a bit of fantasist and conspiracist. The truth is often just a boring as it seems.

Let’s say the entire thing is wrong James Hargreaves still provides us another way to listen, approach, appreciate the album, close to three decades later. And he definitely gives us an insight into Noel’s deep subconscious. It’s a good video regardless of the theory’s validity. Hi James

I wish people wouldn't be so cynical frankly. Yes the theories might be a bit of a stretch but where's the harm in what he's doing? If anything I find it quite fun to think about new perspectives on songs, true or not and at the end of the day he's not claiming that what he says is gospel. It's all conjecture anyway

this guy is doing oasis videos only (almost). there are only so many things, that can be told about oasis. so at a certain point he has to be... creative, to still create content.

Finally getting round to watching this in full and holy shit, I think he's onto something. Don't think I'll ever listen to WTSMG in the same way again

Interestingly, I distinctly remember a Noel interview when WTSMG came out in which he talked through each track and at the end said there was a thread that ran through the whole album but only he knew what it was. The interview was in Select or another one of those music mags from the 90s. EDIT: Wow, the weird things I remember… It WAS from an interview with Select magazine - it’s on the WTSMG review and track-by-track interview with Noel here: selectmagazinescans.monkeon.co.uk/?tag=oasisIt’s in the bit where he’s talking about Morning Glory (the song)… “The album title? Well, the thing is, what is the story? We know it. All the songs are connected, by the way. You didn’t know that, did you? The lyrics are all gonna be printed, so people’ll have to work it out for themselves, and the answers are all in ‘Champagne Supernova’”…

So James Hargreaves has just released a second part to this video. A part that talks about 'theories' about the end of Oasis. Once again, I agree with him on the substance. I believe in the fact that the end of Oasis was planned for a long time and that there are many clues in the lyrics... But the guy goes way too far in his interpretations. He went so far as to interpret the movements of the butterfly in the video for "I'm outta time". How crazy.

The new one is fucking wack I've never held the belief that Noel sabotaged Oasis, but I was with James' theory for the first fifteen minutes. Once he go to Stop the Clocks as a song he lost me. That's where I stopped. Not feeling this one James. Sorry.

That's where I stopped. Not feeling this one James. Sorry. YES! That's exactly where he lost me too! He leaves out the most important factor that Stop The Clocks was introduced in 2003! Was Noel planning on leaving (or sabotaging) Oasis as far back as 2002-2003? No, not in my eyes. Obviously it's just a video and not to be taken seriously at all... at least I hope no one does.

^^ Wasnt it that he gloated and dangled it over people's heads, then when the DBBT era Stop the Clocks demo was leaked he realised his recording had dipped in value so low , probably a few hundred quid, overnight he graciously decided to leak his own live version.. or something like that.
