They still have a huge fan base. No matter how much the hardcore TM fans try to write the narrative that they are done and he is overtaking them, Sergeabian, Kasabian 2.0, SLP, whatever people want to call them are still doing really well and many people are enjoying them. Personally I think they are both done. Been done for a long time. I think a lot of people with ears were pretty convinced they were never will bes |

Looks like there is 4 tracks in that bonus CD that haven’t been announced yet so I’ll buy the bundle, even though I don’t like CDs. How Kasabian got to number 1 is beyond me, their album is so shit wtf - I guess their original fan base didn’t leave? |

If you go on iTunes, for some reason you can listen to a 1:30 clip of each song on ROADRUNNER. I’ve listened through once, I don’t want to spoil the first time listening experience but it does sound really good.
White Lies is still a banger of a tune, good first single choice. I still love Don’t Give In, that’s easily my favourite Tom tune, it’ll be hard to beat.

Also, has anyone listened to Kasabian’s new album Happenings? Thoughts? I’m about to give it a listen now. Edit: it’s average. 2/5 They should just stop making music Only liked 2 tracks...Hell of It and GOAT. Serges vocals sound so strained and high pitched at Glastonbury- It sounded like a screechy mouse was upon the stage. Crapola it's over He's a fella that was desperate to be a front man but really not got the vocals for the kind of music they make. |
