I've seen so many gigs in my time (including over 30+ oasis/LG/NG gigs) and Knebworth is right up there, top three of all time.
The spirit of the day is what made it so special, walking through the town and seeing all the parka monkeys everywhere getting in the mood. The bar unbelievably ran out of booze but that didn't dampen the spirit.
LG was absolutely terrific, the last ever rock and roll star delivered a GOAT performance and was funny and charming throughout.
I genuinely feel so gutted it's all over and would love to relive it again.
It will take something special to top this, and I can't wait to see what Liam has planned next!

“When the dawn came up you felt so inspired to do it again, but it turns out, you only get to do it once”.
Basically the mindset of about 200,000 people the last few days.

Voices definitely get deeper and more gruff. I was listening to DM and MG reissues with Noel sung demos. His voice is so high and clean. He’s nowhere near that in 2022. Not saying it’s bad but he sounds like he’s on helium in 1994. Yeah, high and clean won't be coming back. But he's found a zone in the shows this year with that smokier, gravelly voice that is really working -- and there are some great tones where his voice is now that are cooler in a way than the prettier voice of yore.
Liam's finally taking advantage of his baritone status.

LOL. I've not seen much of them live but have seen some stuff today. Yeah the singer looked naked in one gig, hilarious. I'd have enjoyed seeing them I think. Whitest boy on the beach is a great tune. Yeah some gigs he plays with his knob out Knebworth got a slightly tamer show in comparison to some of their gigs Not heard their music, but I’ll be honest their act took me by surprise, to say the least. What looked like an attempt to give a BJ to the microphone left me a tad unsure of what they were really trying to show 😂.

Remember that weird fellow who used to post with the cat playing the guitar as DP? Would always wind everyone up about how much Beady Eye failed and how no one wants Liam any more. Hope he's alive and well

I hope so too! I never set out to be an activist or anything but if I can do something then that's great. Someone on twitter kindly told me about an organisation called Attitude Is Everything (Bonehead follows them!) who fight for the rights of deaf/disabled people at gigs so I've signed up for them and hopefully I'll be able to do more in the future too More info if you're curious: www.attitudeiseverything.org.uk/play-your-part/volunteer-for-us

There's also this one that has reviews of individual venues (although they don't have an entry for Knebworth and it's really more focused on the USA): halfaccess.org/
This is one of those things that truly can be made better. Someone designs a plan and if it turns out to be stupid and unworkable for real people they might never realize if someone doesn't come out and say it. I'm sure that Liam (and clearly Bonehead!) and really all performers want everyone to have the best possible time. It's just a matter of the right people paying attention.

He sang the end of slide away? ? Did I miss something or was it the first time since the 90s? Unexpected mega chills Edit: ok I figured out that he did that before and there’s a pro shot of it too

I just print my own ticket from the 'my orders' page on Ticketmaster when gigs are ticketless nowadays. That allows me to store some sort of ticket in my ticket folder!

Second night too! Fantastic. Maybe it's just my bad French but I can't see any mention of it just being the highlights, maybe I'm being too optimistic
