English translate by DeepL OüiFM is the only French radio station to broadcast Liam Gallagher's concert on Saturday 4 June, 26 years after the cult Oasis concert in Knebworth. Liam Gallagher performed on Friday 3 and Saturday 4 June at Knebworth Park, north London, as part of his tour following the release of his album C'mon You Know, 26 years after the cult Oasis concert that has remained in the annals. On 10 and 11 August 1996, the Gallagher brothers' band attracted 250,000 fans, putting their name in the record books. In a French exclusive for OüiFM listeners, the rock radio station will broadcast the concert of Saturday 4 June, this Friday 10 June, at 8pm! An event not to be missed. we will get 2nd night sbd? not same as Radio X? Thanks for the translating it.

Anyone know if this station uploads the stuff afterwards or is it more of a either rip it once it's on air or nothing.

Mega, mega, mega. I went to the Friday gig with my wife and am still buzzing 5 days later, back home in the United States.
We got into Stevenage station around 11 and to the gig by 12 after a nice walk with a bunch of lads in bucket hats, which meant we had a great spot at the front railing of the second pit. Kasabian got the crowd riled up (I didn't realize they were THAT good live!), and we were absolutely getting slammed into the railing but I was able to mostly protect my wife, who is only a casual Oasis fan (through my obsession) but was a trooper and had a blast. She was singing along to every Oasis song and at least half the solo ones -- I didn't even know she knew the lyrics to Everything's Electric!
The best moment of the night for me was Stand by Me -- one of my all-time favorite Oasis songs and one that I hadn't heard either Noel or Liam sing live (I never went to an Oasis gig, unfortunately). I teared up, truly.
We did leave during Champagne Supernova so we could try to beat most of the crowd to the train station. My wife and I are in pretty good shape so once we got to the main road, we jogged to the train station and were able to get on a train back to London before midnight. Ended up accidentally jumping on a train that didn't stop at King's Cross (the employees at the station kinda shooed us into that train), so we got off at Finsbury Park and took a cab the rest of the way to our airbnb. Ended up wasting money on the high-speed train I had paid for to get back to King's Cross + the cab, but it was worth it to be home by 1:30ish considering the nightmares some people had getting back.
Absolutely an experience I'll never forget.

Funny as I was also right at the front of that area, and there were a husband and wife against the railings who everyone behind me kept pushing me into, and I kept saying sorry lol. But I seem to remember they were English.

What a day. Went on the 4th with my gf and seven year old son (who knows every Liam/Oasis song). I really got hyped up for this weekend, and it surpassed all of my expectations. The atmosphere was great, of course I was a bit worried for my boy who's never been to a concert before, let alone one with 90.000 people attending.. But things turned out great: the weather, Michael Kiwanuka, Kasabian and of course Liam. We really had a blast and were still buzzing a couple of days later. And some sore shoulders from carrying the little one all of the evening So grateful to be able to take my son to a gig like this. Will never forget it.

My good friend in Manchester has a 3-years-old son and he loves Stand By Me and he sent me a video of his son singing a song. It makes me always smile seeing him singing the song with his arms widely open. People should cherish the beautiful moments of a life instead of rushing and chasing.

Not a Manc but my dads literally from Longsight like Liam and Noel were, before they moved to Burnage. Hes also a lifelong City fan (that part i did inherit), and had the first three Oasis albums on CD. And yet he never played them. I still had to discover Oasis by myself watching TOTP at 6 😂. Only when i noticed we had some Oasis CDs did he get them out for me. So he likes them, but probably just because theyre Blues.

My friend's wife (boy's mum) is a United supporter for a long time and she's even a member of United fan club. She has her own seat at the stadium where Ian Brown got his a few blocks behind her. Life is quite complicated, isn't it?

Is it just me or do all the radio streams of the concert so far seem very distant? Like it feels more like an audience recording than a soundboard. Be it a very very good audience recording.

Noel talking about beady eye splitting up. His advice for Liam: "don't give up". Well he didn't give up did he? Funnily enough the next video in youtube is Liam at Knebworth 2022.

I don't expect great vocal form like the first night, but I'm glad they deliver the whole set anyway. I am hoping for some good times and I hope that in the audio broadcast his voice sounds better than the videos I saw on YouTube on the second night.
