Nightmare of a gig logistically Brought back The River, other than that the usual setlist Very nearly ended up with a part 2 of the knebworth farce with regards to accessibility as well but luckily I managed to swap places with someone so my view was a bit clearer, if that wasn't an option then it would've been the same old story Edit: my view before swapping places:

Good to see World's In Need back in the set list since he didn't play it at his last gig.

Just caught some of Lowlands. LG sounds great. Hat is a bit like an oversized coffee filter. Jackets cool though.

So no European tour looming ahead, only the festival appearances this summer? Let alone a US tour...
I'd never have expected that when "C'mon you know was released", I thought an autumn/winter tour would follow the summer festivals.

His website shows just one date in October, which is in Abu Dhabi, then 6 dates in South and Central America in November... Not getting hopeful for Liam in the US this year, maybe next year. Or he just scraps the US all together.

Well I dunno if I would call him an alcoholic but its true he has seemed a bit out of sorts on occasion, since knebworth really. That time when he stayed on stage for ages and Debbie had to come on and lead him off stands out as a little strange. He could have found the Knebworth experience a bit overwhelming considering where he was a few years ago. Facing a double hip replacement. Taylor'sudden death. Plus he hasn't really stopped since 2017, even during lockdown he wrote an album and did the thames gig. And of course any number of other private issues. Its not outwith the bounds of possibility that he is struggling with his mental health atm and just needs a break. After "heated" debate on this forum a few weeks ago, here's the final word on this boozegate from the man himself : www.nme.com/news/music/liam-gallagher-says-hes-been-walloping-the-brandy-ahead-of-gigs-over-the-last-year-3314565

Drinking a bottle of brandy every gig seems a spectacularly unhealthy and unwise choice of coping mechanism. Doesn't surprise me though, when I seen him at Hampden he was rambling like a drunk in between songs. Hope he gets his shit together, for his own sake.

It's on this interview: It's sad to hear him say that So unhealthy and can lead down a pretty unsatisfying road as far as concerts go

Explains the drunk rambling and behavior at some of the summer gigs after Knebworth. He even said in the interview he doesn't really know where to go next after Knebworth. I got the feeling Knebworth was a highlight and it's going a bit downhill now: 3d album not as good as the first two, less professional behavior at gigs, wanting a rock n roll guitar record but apparently not being able to get one .
Maybe I'm reading too much into this but it's the feeling I'm getting since C'Mon You Know has been released.

So no European tour looming ahead, only the festival appearances this summer? Let alone a US tour... I'd never have expected that when "C'mon you know was released", I thought an autumn/winter tour would follow the summer festivals. Me too. But it's too late now to announce a Euro tour til the end of the year. Let alone North American dates. There's just simply too much going on right now - so many bands out and, obviously, people cannot see every band that comes through and generally don't spend too much money anyway. Most venues are fully booked aswell til the end of the year going back to all the rescheduled events from the past 2 years. And it's gotten quite expensive overall as I heard from a lot of bands over the past couple of months that even play major festivals and decent sized venues (partly just under arena capacity). You only gotta make a few quid if it's a safe sold out show these days. It's all a bit rough at the moment. So I get it if they don't wanna tour and end up with a lot of shit to deal with + Liam don't need a new record to go on tour. Playing a couple of selected festivals and solo shows over the summer in Europe is always an option. And hopefully we got a different situation next year(wishful thinking). Speaking of the US. I'd say the best thing for him would be a co-headline tour with a band/act that suits him. Then playing like 60-70 mins each night... probably the best setting.
