yeah I read that yesterday. Drinking a bottle of brandy every gig seems a spectacularly unhealthy and unwise choice of coping mechanism. Doesn't surprise me though, when I seen him at Hampden he was rambling like a drunk in between songs. Hope he gets his shit together, for his own sake. Yeah, I agree with you. Drinking a bottle of brandy on stage is never a good idea.

He even said in the interview he doesn't really know where to go next after Knebworth. I got the feeling Knebworth was a highlight and it's going a bit downhill now: 3d album not as good as the first two, less professional behavior at gigs, wanting a rock n roll guitar record but apparently not being able to get one . Hm, this sounds familiar 🤔

That's the sort of constant background pain that will lead you to drinking a bottle of brandy when you're going to be standing up for a couple of hours.

Yeah, I agree with you he definitely does need that hip operation and get it done as soon as possible.

nah... I think everything's alright... Agreed. Except for his hips of course. I listened to Brussels 2000 version of Live Forever, and, in comparison with it's last live at Cardiff, well, it's almost the same power/voice. That's miles better than anything expected a few years ago. He must be enjoying or doing something quite well. I mean, you need to take care of yourself, ok, but let the man enjoy, drink his sparkling milk if he want. Don't see the problem.

His voice maybe better than a few years ago but he needs to take care of himself and be careful about drinking if he's on medication as well.

Yeah, I'm on medication so I don't drink alcohol and I think that Liam is on medication.

LG's concert tomorrow has been postponed as he is ill. Works out perfectly for me as my wife and I are ill and wouldn't have been able to make it.
Example is replacing him haha.

The Abu Dhabi gig has been completely cancelled due to 'Liam's persistent health condition'. Yet, he is out and about as usual according to Social Media.
Hmmm.....

I imagine popping into the store or whatever takes less energy than flying, staying in a hotel, and performing, and if his energy levels/general health have been unreliable recently, that's not a situation where you want to commit to a big public performance. IDK what all you've been seeing on social media, though.
Sucks about the gig though. Sorry, mate.

Today I will try to record the show here in Santiago with my Tascam DR40. It will depend on the security of the "movistar arena". If everything goes well I'll be sharing it here over the weekend.

Liam played 17 songs in Santiago. Compared to his last gig in September, dropped Hello, C'mon You Know, Better Days and World's in Need, while added Everything's Electric.

I Hoped for 20 years since HC tour to be in the middle of a mad crowd jumping while Liam is singing Hello. It didn't happen. Sooo sad. Decent gig, Liam in very good shape. This arena has a terrible sound anyway and that cheap lights production, I don't know, I mean, I've enjoyed so much Liam solo carreer, live broadcasts and all that, I think the band improved so much and became solid. But to be there is something like somebody said before about Knebworth... some of the magic is lost. Maybe it was just my impression or maybe it was that kind of night when everything is unstable (everything but Liam... he was great) the drums sounded lazy, out of tempo, slower songs without that groove you got when you are repeating every night. I was there in 2009, and yes. I really miss Chris, Andy and Gem, and even Noel (R.I.P) that power is another thing.
