Why was the stage different ? Usually end of stadium I would imagine because it didn't sell out. Less capacity when it's set up that way

I think it is the opposite reason. Only one side of Hampden Park has the second tier of seating so it increases capacity or at least it just makes for a better viewing experience for the seated fans. Coldplay and Gerry Cinnamon are set up the same way.

Coldplay and Gerry Cinnamon are set up the same way. I bought my tickets as soon as they went on sale and it was set up that way from the start so it wasn't anything to do with slow sales. Saying that the top tier wasn't open for Liam anyway, but at least the option was there if there was demand. Rest of the stadium was packed though, if it wasn't sold out it wasn't far off.

Why was the stage different ? Usually end of stadium I think they’ve changed it so they can sell more hospitaly packages. All the corporate boxes are in the stand which now faces the stage. It was £300 a head for a meal and 3 hour bar (something like that anyway). And to be honest it’s just a much better set up and atmosphere IMO. It was great on Sunday. I wasn’t a big fan of the Oasis gig there in 2005. Sound was rubbish

Now I've had time to reflect and catch up on sleep, HP was good but preferred Hydro 2019. Dropped WMWN shockwave and Live Forever from Knebworth. Replaced with TWIN and Soul Love which while I like them made the crowd fairly flat in general. I think the TRNSMT gig was the best of those 3 but they’ve all been superb and each with enough variation in the set list to keep it fresh. He’s absolutely flying at the moment - it’s a joy to behold

Random question but does anyone know where I can find a seating plan for the Cardiff Bay venue? I just want to double check it before I get tickets for obvious reasons

Ah right ok I didn't realise it was all standing and yeah I was referring to the platform, I was just wondering where it was! Sometimes it's right at the back and sometimes it's a bit more to the side/possibly even a bit further forward so yeah I was just curious

It's a new thing for gigs to be taking place there. I've never been, to be honest I don't think a big act has played there yet

As far as I can work out the capacity is the same as the venue where I saw Noel in Bristol so the view should hopefully be good, we'll see!

Safe to assume there'll be some more gigs around Christmas then? He has nothing scheduled after 16th November and let's face it when Liam fancies doing something he generally does it... surely he'll do an arena tour at some point at the very least especially in Europe

So many versions of what happened on twitter. Some say he only played 3 songs, some say 4 songs, some say 6 songs. Some say he had voice problems, some say he sounded great but there were technical problems.

What does that even mean? What does it have to do with the situation? Some “fans” post it here every time and every time I wonder about it

French press reports say he was agitated from the start, came out once and left, came out again and cut off the first song, complaining about the sound. Then he had his mic replaced but cut off the second song as well (there are some clips of this around.) Then he continued but abruptly ended the show as seen in the clip above. The Beauregard Festival has released a statement saying it had nothing to do with their technical team and though they are sad that Liam walked off it was circumstances "beyond their control." (No press I saw has mentioned his voice and doesn't sound in clips like he's struggling vocally though of course only he knows how he feels.) Maybe just a bad day to be LG but I imagine he will put out some comment on it.
