Yeah I'm glad he's done it but the reaction was slightly OTT. It's quite clear he is only prepared to do Beady Eye tunes solely written by himself but the decision to do Worlds Not Set In Stone solo remains one of his most baffling choices. Surprised he’s not done the roller But if Liam will only do Beady Eye songs which are written by him then he will never do The Roller as it's a Gem song. |

It’s just 1 song you know 🙂 And it’s actually good song, not something like Don’t Brother Me... or Black Star Dancing. Noel on his place would put 10 Be in the setlist and would play them for 5 years with no changes. |

Really cool to see Liam having fun and enjoying himself at these festival shows after the Knebworth gigs. Nice that he still constantly throws in some other tunes here and there throughout the tour. Always liked Soul Love and Flick Of The Finger would be a BE song I'd fancy aswell.

those tweets about the tune are brilliant. Liam's use of twitter is a big part of his success I think, it's kind of a throwback to how the clash engaged with fans on a 'daily life' in person level.

Was in Belast last night. Thought LG himself was fine. The sound was so quiet though. I mentioned it straight away to my brother during “Hello”. Really wasn’t impressed with the crowd either. Some young lads actuall started a mosh pit during CS. Got a full cup of piss launched on my head during “Soul Love” which no one knew any of the words. He did play TWIN but not COYK. Shame really, first time I’ve come away from an LG/NG feeling meh. Can’t wait for the next one down the road though!

Just back from Hampden. I thought it was a great gig. Place went mental for Kasabian. Absolutely came unglued
Liam was brilliant as usual I thought he sounded great

Didn't realise he was playing Soul Love. I'd lose my shit for any Beady Eye. I know they weren't great but it feels like a bit of a 'I was there when everyone else had given up' type of thing for me. They were quite charming in their own way.

Didn't realise he was playing Soul Love. I'd lose my shit for any Beady Eye. I know they weren't great but it feels like a bit of a 'I was there when everyone else had given up' type of thing for me. They were quite charming in their own way. Yeah it's a bit the same for me, I was pleased to hear Soul Love, but it felt weird for me as the last time I heard that song live, it was in a tiny venue in Switzerland in front of barely 1k people, while he was now playing it in front of 50 k people. |

Now I've had time to reflect and catch up on sleep, HP was good but preferred Hydro 2019. Dropped WMWN shockwave and Live Forever from Knebworth. Replaced with TWIN and Soul Love which while I like them made the crowd fairly flat in general.
