I am seeing Liam today at O Son do CamiΓ±o in Santiago, Spain (https://www.osondocamino.es/)... counting the seconds, will let you know how it goes Liam was FANTASTIC. Enjoyed every minute. Played Soul Love, Roll It over... (I was not expecting that in a festival set). His voice was amazing. Champagne Supernova and Cigarretes and alcohol were BIBLICAL. In Spain, the crowd does not know most of the Liam songs, but I was very close to the stage, surrounded by hardcore fans like us, so it did not really matter
Clips I've seen on twitter/YT sound fantastic. He's really in a zone right now. Jealous of everyone who gets to experience.

Am i missing something here?
When i first seen this thread i thought wow he's added some new tunes and really mixed it up. He's added a tune he did on the last tour? If we are using Noel as the standard then i suppose anything is decent but come on

I love how Liam seems to decide on the night what he's gonna play. He will just chuck Eh La in for no apparent reason other then he wants to give it a run out. Unpredictable.

Liam does bring out Oasis songs which were never played live in Oasis like Roll It Over.

Soul Love is a good tune, one of the best from the Beady Eye days, and nice to give a nod to that period - but I'm kinda hoping he doesn't play it in Glasgow next week - lots of other songs from the back catalogue I'd rather hear over that.

Nice short setlist on rock in Rio, soul love was nice and ending with cigs and Γ‘lcool was a cool change to Knebworth. The show was played on the radio and I believe on TV as well

Brilliant to to finally get to see new songs in a concert in pro format. The mix is shocking though. It almost always is at festivals. I tried watching a Wolf Alice set from one a couple of weeks ago and I swear a trained monkey could have done a better job at mixing it. I'd forgotten how much I love that backing singer on the left.

Great set list and at least Liam changes things around a bit unlike Noel. I mean when he has a set for a tour Liam pretty much keeps it the same songs, sometimes chops up the order. He's chucked in Soul Love which he was playing on the last tour - not like he's doing a whole new set really either. Roll It Over is the only 'new' Oasis song in the set - the other new tunes compared to the last tour are simply the new album songs. When Noel has a new album out, he'll play new songs too. The disappointment with Noel's set is the lack of 'new' Oasis songs. That's really it. He's playing We're On Our Way Now on this tour which he'd never played before - for obvious reasons - and then he'd only ever played Rattling Rose once or twice too. Same with Wandering Star. So he has 'changed it around' in that sense. He's just left the Oasis songs the same which is the disappointment. But LG similarly has been playing the same Oasis songs now too for a good while, he just throws in curveballs like Roll It Over (which is incredible) and Go Let It Out at the NHS gig last year. Would love Noel to have more courage/less laziness and play different Oasis songs though at least we know that's coming next year. I think he's got it in his head that this bunch work best for his band right now at the gigs he's playing at though. From what I've seen online, people haven't been coming out of those NG gigs complaining about the set. They're just a tad disappointing for us hardcore fans.

Have to admit im a tad surprised. I guess its not a full-length gig, but it must be the first time in a long while that neither Live Forever or Stand By Me got played.

True but Noel could also play a few more songs on this tour from his Chasing Yesterday album as I'm sure there's one or two songs from that album which he hasn't played before or played in a while instead of sticking to his last album which is now five years old apart from a couple of songs which he hasn't played before. And, yes, he needs to play some different Oasis songs.

I've just finished listening to Liam at Rock In Rio it's a good gig but the recording/video is ok but not great and during Diamond In The Dark the video freezes which is not good and it spoils it.

But he played The Right Stuff in every set for 2 years, for example. It's the Oasis songs that ultimately rankle people on here, let's face it.

Yeah I'm glad he's done it but the reaction was slightly OTT. It's quite clear he is only prepared to do Beady Eye tunes solely written by himself but the decision to do Worlds Not Set In Stone solo remains one of his most baffling choices.

Yeah, that's true about the Oasis songs and as for In The Heat Of The Moment it's much better live than what the album version is. Also, You Know We Can't Go Back is one of my favourite songs from Noel.
