Really good interview but yet again some annoying traits from Noel frustrate me. Its like he just creates his own narratives whenever he wants. What's with dismissing the whole of the 2000s? The amount of fans Oasis gained through that period, not to mention one of his guitarists whole time in Oasis was then.
Its also funny how just the other day I was reading an interview on here from a few years ago where Noel said Songbird was okay for about a week and completely dismissed I'm Outta Time as filler. I know none of us are exactly consistent with our opinions through the years but its obvious he just changes these opinions depending on how much he wants to bait Liam. One of the many reasons I'd never take the side of Noel as this innocent target having to deal with the unhinged Liam. He's wound him up again and again through the years and knows exactly what he's doing.
The bit about the Oasis best of 2000s being shelved because of a disagreement seems to have been picked up by NME and a few others as a Liam Vs Noel thing but I can't see where he references Liam. The fact he couldn't release an Oasis best of so releases his own best of kind of screams of lets do a quick cash in too to be honest.

My friend in Manchester sent me a copy. I loved the bit of "Hail to the Chief#1 Noel by Johnny Marr" and "#2 Noel by Paul Weller".

I heard the early morning DJ on Radio X refer to 'Gallagher Tennis' when talking about this best of. This is Noel's turn to blame Liam for something, just wait for Liam's return shot next week.
