Where did this come from? Is there another unreleased thing for me to fantasize about!??! Around the time his debut came out and the AA album was still a thing, he said he had 9 other songs ready for a third album called “The Future Of Martial Arts”. With hindsight, they were probably things like Come On Outside, Revolution Song, etc which ended up on CY or elsewhere. Really pisses me off how prolific he claims to be versus how little he actually releases. Come on Noel, you’re not getting any younger... get those songs out for the lads. X Was that the songs he claimed at the BBC Mastertapes sessions where there were instrumentals for an unnamed project? |

I’m unsure but think Martial Arts was a different thing. He definitely referred to them as “songs”, which implies vocals: “between you and me I made three, the third was going to be called The Future Of Martial Arts. Thinking about it Noel has a metric shit tonne of unreleased stuff in the vaults.
This RSD release should be vol 1 of a 3 disc set of nothing but rarities man!
And get an Oasis DIV sessions RSD release out while you’re at it.

I wish that Noel wouldn't say these things about releasing unheard music which he's got stock piled and make promises to release them but then never does as it's so annoying.

I’ve been doing RSD for a decade now, nobody calls a press conference or does exclusive interviews to reveals their participation. It’s much more casual than that. Granted they do try and keep the RSD ambassadors a secret prior to announcement but that isn’t Noel and those bands/artists are never making drama out of it. I wish there was more to this news but Noel gonna Noel. He prob will announce best of with new song attached. Hope I’m wrong. |

I was always let down by that song when the studio song emerged. That 2009 soundcheck version (granted low quality) sounded ferocious. Like Neil Young and Crazy Horse with wild guitar solos. Oh well. Didn’t play out like that. I agree with everything about this. Still love it but the sound check is a beast true 👍 |
