I've been buying all the RSD releases by NGHFB since 2012. I'm not fussed about what we'll get at all. I'll see and I'll just buy it. You big Stan you :-) X No, I’m just a fool, you know.

Hands down my utter favourite Noel tune. Criminally under heard and played. Total banger remix by Lavelle too! What's not to love I was always let down by that song when the studio song emerged. That 2009 soundcheck version (granted low quality) sounded ferocious. Like Neil Young and Crazy Horse with wild guitar solos. Oh well. Didn’t play out like that. I agree with everything about this.

Damn. Looks like we're all (except for Flashbax ) buying a best of then. Probably not just one LP then though? I won't be buying some "Best Of" either - happily made my own "Best Of Oasis And The Gallagher Brothers" 4xCD set for myself. And if there's just one new track on there, I can always download that "elsewhere". My thoughts exactly. Although I haven't actually made my own Oasis and The Gallagher Brothers compilation cd myself, I have however done that on Amazon Music. So I don't need a compilation by Noel anyway. I'm ok with streaming my favourite Gallagher Brothers' music.

Remember a few days ago when we thought new material, rarities, and unreleased tracks....the world was different place then; we were young, innocent, and had our whole lives ahead of us.

I mean, technically, we don’t know any details about what’s included on this or the volumes to follow... so anything’s possible!

On an unrelated note, "The Future Of Martial Arts" would be the best Gallagher related album title of all time imo

Is there another unreleased thing for me to fantasize about!??! Around the time his debut came out and the AA album was still a thing, he said he had 9 other songs ready for a third album called “The Future Of Martial Arts”. With hindsight, they were probably things like Come On Outside, Revolution Song, etc which ended up on CY or elsewhere. Really pisses me off how prolific he claims to be versus how little he actually releases. In interviews when Moon came out he claimed to have written two albums worth of normal songs in parallel to writing in the studio with Holmes, yet now is saying his next album won’t be until 2023! Come on Noel, you’re not getting any younger... get those songs out for the lads. X

On an unrelated note, "The Future Of Martial Arts" would be the best Gallagher related album title of all time imo Where did this come from? Is there another unreleased thing for me to fantasize about!??! It's from a snippet of an interview he gave to Q magazine around the start of his solo career.
Basically Noel was going to release a third album alongside his debut and the eventually scrapped AA project, but in standard Noel fashion he got too lazy and never bothered. I think this little quote is the only time it was ever brought up and has not been mentioned since, which is a shame. All we have, I believe, is the super cool name "The Future of Martial Arts" and that Noel scrapped it. It would be cool if Noel shed more light on the project or if any of the songs were recycled onto later releases.
