We could be waiting ages for any news on this new single with the Covid crisis but then on the other hand we could hear something soon. Who knows? It's anyone's guess. Itāll be soon. Trust me. No more than a month at worst. Well I hope that you're right as like everyone else on here I want to hear something new from Noel (and Liam come to that). |

Come on Noel give us some news about your new single as we're all waiting and know that there's something planned. The teaser video announcing that the preview video is coming soon will be on Noel's youtube channel in mid April 2021. Mid May will see the actual preview video released featuring a 15 second excerpt of the new song. Rumours will run rife here that the unheard sections of the new single features bagpipes. There will be a lyric video for the full song released on Noel's youtube channel on the 15th July. The song won't feature any bagpipes after all. On October 15th the actual song will be officially released for purchase digitally. Towards the end of November the actual music video for the song will be released. The single will be released on multi-colored vinyl formats in late January 2022. Rather than featuring a remix or demo that fans can actually listen to, the b-side will feature the etched initials NG for Noel Gallagher. If you pre-order and purchase all twelve different colored vinyl copies you go into the draw to win a Noel Gallagher t-shirt. One lucky winner will win the the t-shirt but if you miss out you can purchase one yourself from Noel's online shop. The dance remix of the single will only be sent to a few selected DJs. Only one of them will play it on their podcast and that DJ will insist on talking over the start and end of the track. There will be no digital or CD release for fans to purchase. Ha, ha, ha, I think that we'll get the new single well before the end of the year and the vinyl releases well before late January next year. |

I think a new record is very likely a possibility. I mean, itās been nearly 4 years since his last LP... yeah, he had the EPs, but outside of fans they they werenāt promoted as heavily as a full-length. Also, many artists are announcing new albums for this Fall. As well as festival dates for fall ā21/spring ā22. Anyone remember the āitās a beautiful worldā tease years back? It was a still from the video and a little over a month later, we got an album announcement...

Yup, an avalanche is coming. But I'd throw in some extra timing uncertainty. Full-scale global or even European touring (especially with venues at money-making capacity) may not be returning in the next 6 months. It could happen if all goes perfectly but remains chancy through 2021, as there are so many unknowns that canāt be answered in real-time, only guessed at. Timing a release right now takes throwing the dice (or accepting altered conditions). People will anyway, because we're all sick of feeling time slipping away, but people who like a plan might be driven crazy by it. |

Loads of artists did similar quick covers on Instagram etc as tributes. When asked about it on the podcast, Noel said heād consider chucking it on a b side. So thereās hope. And thereās always RSD. If this was the start of a new album cycle, wouldnāt Noel have said something on the latest Matt Morgan podcast? Based on prior podcasts, it didnāt seem he was that far along either. Never mentioned final mixing or mastering, and always mentioned ā3-4 songsā heās got. Iām trying to stay optimistic, but I fear this is a stand alone single, or even worse, a video for a song we already have.

He's not touring, he's not on vacation and he got a studio inside his fuckin house. If that alone doesn't speed things up I have no idea what would. |
