“These days a lot of people don’t bother with proper videos, but Noel is a bit old school and still values a video that helps communicate the message of a track. Clicked the link by accident, proper fuckin journalism right there, everyone knows Noel loves a video right enough, shitebags Haha, he certainly loves videos where random actors come and do the hard work for him. Please tell me Noel didn't do an interview with the Sun? (I don't want to click their links). I thought he had cut his ties with them.

Think it was later than that (like 2016) he started with Holmes in the studio, but yeah he definitely has the material for a full album at this point I met Noel in Belfast about a week before the start of the chasing yesterday tour in march 2015, he said he was there working on something (staying at chez Holmes) and given that he approached Holmes for CY that's why I took a guess at 2014, but it could be that march 15 was when they where doing the whole "listening to records, drinking wine and getting stoned" bit and things got moving proper after the CY tour I had a dig through the threads to find out when they started working together found this from an interview with mojo: It’s not a tribute per se, but Lou Reed died the very first day I was in Holmer’s and we did a sort of ‘Heroin’ kind of thing – slow and a bit trippy – which I’ve recently finished off. That means work started on WBTM towards the end of 2013!

Wouldn't surprise me if it's connected to that Oasis album he recently mentioned. Maybe a single off that revisted album.

Are we still discussing something he never said? Are we still discussing that you are extremely rude and should learn some manners? Yeah, such a rude member of this forum I am Still, he never said he was making an Oasis album, he said in the future he'd like to revisit songs that never made the cut I doubt it very much he's gonna give time to that before he gets an album he has already written out of the way

Well, I certainly won't be clicking on to The Scum website just to read that about Noel because I absolutely hate that so called paper.

Oasis are reforming without Liam. This comeback single must be for Oasis’s comeback album. 100% legit. www.thesun.co.uk/tvandshowbiz/13813173/oasis-recording-new-album-liam-noel-gallagher/X

Found something, seems its 2 tracks now? That makes 3, but he could just be talking about this new song AND 'We're Gonna Get There(...)'. Translation isn't the greatest. Another quote from Noel: "I have to say that the two songs that I have done in the last few weeks are easily the best of the High Flying Birds things that I have done, one of them is just fucking 'wow', [that] even sometimes I am surprised." www.duna.cl/cultura/musica/2021/03/02/noel-gallagher-graba-video-con-estrella-de-the-crown/

Or late november) about two of the songs he had just recorded at the time they've just thrown in the article, don't think it's any indication of what's coming

I doubt the industry will Go without gigs this year. They will do some at 30 or 50% capacity and raise prices. And keep them at that same price when its back at 100%, because why not. Id say Noel gigs will happen later this year. So very hopefull for a new album. The UK government’s target is to have all COVID restrictions lifted by 21st June. As a result, festivals, including Leeds/Reading, have already sold out. I expect we’ll be back to full capacity gigs in the UK in summer, no faffing about with reduced capacities for long if at all. If Noel is announcing new music soon, there’s a good chance he’ll be announcing gigs for later in the year too. Fingers crossed. X I stil think July is way too soon to make things like they were before of covid

Who wants to have a little sportsman’s bet with me while we wait for this video that Noel will be walking in it? Or maybe even not in it at all. This Covid situation we all find ourselves in is a perfect excuse not to be in a video.

I think that the Covid-19 crisis could go on for a while yet especially as they keep finding these new strains. It's far from over yet.

But I wouldn’t bet against Noel gigs later in the year (in the UK at least). X

Can’t wait for this video to be the alternate take of “If I Had A Gun....” (Noel drums mix) destined for the HFB 10th anniversary extravaganza.

That means work started on WBTM towards the end of 2013! I believe you're right, it was definitely end of 2013 that they both started working together. Obviously took its time with the creative process, Chasing Yesterday recorded in tandem and his touring in the years before it was eventually released. Sure Holy Mountain derives from end of 2013 too.
