To you maybe but not to me, I've never liked Noel's version and I never will. That's alright, I just wanted to know what you didn't like about it Ok, maybe it's because I'm used to hearing Liam singing it.

Yeah, the studio version is the best version of the song. However, I don't mind some of the live versions, I think they're ok like the Finsbury Park ones for example.

As I’ve said before I was at Glastonbury and while it wasn’t Oasis’s best, the crowd were worse. England had been knocked out of the Euro’s the day before and the Friday was hot as hell, everyone just seemed drained and flat.
Added to those things was the sound was poor, I think Glastonbury had changed their system that year and Zak hadn’t really settled. I’m not surprised it got some poor reviews.

Champagne Supernova, it's a classic that transcends and lifts up an album like MG, but live I mostly find it a bit too fast an d not as sensitive as on the record.

I love Champagne Supernova it's such a great song. As for the live version it's ok and I don't mind it. However, when Liam solo sings it live he should do the proper version and not the way he does do it. It's not bad but why cut such a great song down with no guitars and just a piano and drums. It just doesn't seem right.

Good points, add to that the media don't exactly need an excuse to batter them. There seems to be an abrasiveness and stubbornness about all the Gallaghers, i even hear it from Paul when he's being interviewed. It really comes across when they get their big moment, it's almost like a punk mentality to fuck it up. It's something Liam realised he couldn't get away with anymore though and his attitude is much more professional now.

Slide Away was great live. Yeah it sounded much rougher live than studio version but this song should sound passionate and the more passionate the better. The knebworth version is one of my favorites. If we talk about 90s oasis only song they couldn’t nail for some reason is Some Might Say. Only exception is Maine Road second night I think.

First night was good too.
Glad finally somebody agrees with that notion though

Slide Away is better live than the album version. As for the live version of Some Might Say I've always liked the live version to be honest.
