Umm, has nobody noticed the scarf that is there and then isn’t? Oh Different takes? Vocals are 100% live I think they usually do the songs 2-3 times on these type of shows.

That's either the most remarkable live performance or the most convincing miming job I've ever seen. I can't work out which to be honest!

I thought it might have been mimed initially but having had a few more views I don’t think so. Also if you look at his previous performances miming I’d think you’d pick it up pretty quickly as he is absolutely awful at it 😂

Liam can't mime, he's awful at it and theres not one point in this performance where it's even a tiny bit out.

and it's not his scarf lol. It's just the light that makes it look like it. Watch closely

It was live, Liam already told that on instagram to somebody claiming he was miming

So when he sounds bad everyone's like "Oh, kermit is back". And when he sounds good he's suddenly miming? Yeah, right.

I’m a firm believer that you have to take the rough with the smooth especially as a singer gets older. He was just so good last night that I was initially sceptical. I shouldn’t have been.

Liam just announced his 3rd album on Instagram. It's called "Why Mime? Why not"

Sorry to bring up an old and somewhat controversial subject from back in the day on this forum but -
Does anyone think there could be a possibility that Liam has had any kind of surgical procedure on his vocal chords this year? People on here used to debate whether or not Liam may have vocal nodules when he was at his Kermit worst, and that having them removed could potentially vastly improve his voice.
I think ol’ Elton had the procedure done years ago, just a thought.

Liam continuing to sound the best in two decades - amazing how he recovered his voice from the lows of 2008 and for awhile thereafter. Still looks cool as fuck, not bad for 48 years of age.

Was well happy that the two tribute bands that got mentioned I have fronted. I was in Noasis for over a year and now I'm in Oas-is. Got a proper cheer in my house haha!

When I saw the Jonathan Ross interview on YouTube, I swear to god I was convinced it was from 2011 - Liam’s hair makes him look 10 years younger. He had it this way for the 2012 London Olympics Performance, which he did well at too, in fairness. Looking good, Liam.

Those backing vocals are Andrew Wyatt 100 percent
I don’t really care if it’s not “ live vocals”/ when he goes on the one show we can do a little side by side comparison
And see if he’s vocals are being dubbed

I kind of hope it is more the surgery aspect, purely for the reason that it would hint to a more permanent fix for his voice rather than the usual well rested good performances, that then lead to the nasally kermit that appears halfway through a tour. I don’t think we’ll ever find out, but based on the calibre of these recent performances, it has sold me to pay for the Thames gig next week.

As someone who's had vocal nodules, you don't necessarily need surgery to fix them/improve them. Voice therapy/vocal exercises can drastically improve them. However - even if he had surgery, the way he uses his voice even now means it's likely to aggravate his vocal cords. Re singing lessons: he had them just before he started playing live again in 2017, but don't know if he's had any since then. He seems to really look after himself these days when he has big things coming up - MTV Unplugged for example. Didn't he say he was off the booze in October? He knows his limitations now and knows it's all on him whether it goes well or not.

I reject the thought it's a mime. You can see the pain and strain on his face in the higher notes and you can hear the subtle shake in his voice. But he's still landing it!

Thanks for the insight about the nodules, i brought it up because this time around after his long rest there just seems to be an extra gear, more power and tone than i have heard for a long time, Which leads me to believe he has done something different this time around, he’s seen a professional voice coach or a medical specialist. Time will tell but i would love to see this standard keep up, and could only imagine what an Oasis reunion would sound like. We can only dream.

I really enjoyed Liam on Jonathan Ross last night and the live performance was great. However all the other guests were boring though and it's a pity that Liam's interview wasn't a little longer.
