I'm at a bit of a loss for words, where did that come from? How do you go from this
To that despite being 12 years older?

I forget where and when be he actually agreed that for a period that he was singing like crap but it wasn't because of his effort, lifestyle, or the way he sang but it was a combination of the ear plugs he was wearing and a thyroid problem I believe. He probably had to make adjustments to compensate and now has it down.

I had noticed Dan and Drew singing backup in the past. Here it looks like Chris is also adding backing vocals (or pretending to for those who insist he's miming). Apparently he can sing based on his site. christianmadden.co.uk/about/

This is the first song since Post "Be Here Now" that can actually have success worldwide. It has universal appeal. Europe is going to eat this up and I'm so excited and happy for Liam.

The Instrumental and Backing Vocals are certainly pre-recorded. Vocals I can’t tell unless someone goes to the effort of comparing it to the Radio 2 / Boat Live Version

To me it sounded like a different take of the vocal (either the demo or the Thames gig), and he mimed that.
The band were definitely miming, and I'm very suspicious the vocals are that good and perfectly in tune.
If you want to believe it was a one-take live performance in the Jonathan Ross studio, feel free...

He probably had to make adjustments to compensate and now has it down. you can definitely hear his improved thyroid management in how clean his vocals sound now. even at his most ragged, he still has a full tone. the live take of Hello from this week and the hoarse one from '02 are the best A/B test...

Wow!!! He sounded absolutely amazing. The song still doesn't quite hit the spot for me but hopefully will be a big success for him. It definitely could connect with the Asda mums.

"I think we’re both the problem and the problem is that he thinks he’s not the problem. He thinks I’m both the problems. Whereas I’m just a problem. I’m half the problem, whereas I can’t be having him thinking I’m the full problem. He needs to take on some of the problem. The minute he does that we’ll move on. He needs to own his problem…” (Press release) It was such a sensible thing to say! That sounds so right on the money.

I guess I could get all worked up about whether this was truly “live” or not, but then I realize I’m 44 and should probably just rip it, enjoy, and get on with my life.
Am liking the song more with each listen though, so that’s good.

I dont understand how some people think Liam might be miming. You can literally hear and see him singing live.

Not keen on the song but the vocals were excellent.
Don't think he ever comes across well on chat shows though, plays up to the 'rock star doesn't give a fuck' image too much and gets egged on by Jonathan Ross.

I didn't think it was awkward (well maybe when they kept asking about Noel so many times). I thought he was very funny, definitely the most interesting guest there.
The song was beautiful too.
