I know I told that I wouldn't comment on this topic again but it's getting ridicoulus so I hope that this will end this discussion once for all. Totally different melody: studio version: he goes up live version: he sang it in a flat way clyp.it/vs0r1got?token=c574daf82bc2f184d1049c5a3776e3c0

Can i post snippets of the Ross live coupled with the studio take ? Like 5 secs of each beginning of a lyric. Is that allowed ? I could do that tomorrow.
With a little delay you can clearly hear its the same take

Debunking stuff more like. Like a detective. It’s not being offensive or anything just that when I watched it, it struck me as being not live and wanted to be sure. Is that wrong ? No. Claiming its live on social media is a bit though. This world of blind followers is a bit scary. Sure it’s nothing, it’s just Liam Gallagher, but it represents the world we live in now. Be in or be out. No middle ground. No debate, no room for doubt. This is my last comment towards you, andy. Your non stop "detective job" annoys us as hell. I don't care if it's Liam Gallagher or Noel Gallagher or Damon Albarn or whoever might be and if it was live or not, so do others. If somebody thinks it was live, some don't and so it be. It's not a big deal to debate everyday over and over and over... Boring. I'm lurking enjoying this debate. As long as there are no offensive comments please let the debate continue until its natural end.

So it's possible that vocals corrections, whatever they were, were also removed. Listen to the flow of the sung lyric, it's exactly the same. Dont pay attention to tone or notes, but the flow, the pace.

I'm just saying both version are the same, and work has been done to make them sound different.

Wouldn't speeding the song up for Jonathan Ross make his voice go higher as well? It sounds flatter and deeper than the record. I just can't see how anybody could mime that well, I think it was a great performance with some great mixing with a bit of touching up here and there. If there are added words then that has to be the clincher surely.

This conversation has been enjoyable. My music knowledge is not good enough to understand pitch/tone differences etc. But he definitely adds an extra word in the live performance compared to the studio vocal ........

Not the same recording of course, and it's not only the matter of "and" before "take..." The voice sounds different, different mics are used for both recordings...

The way he over pronounces the end of a sentence shows it's live.. "the world is at it's worsssssstttt" "kisses unrehearsssssssed".. he hisses at the end of the line quite a lot live. Take Wall Of Glass for example, he always does the "Wall of glassssssssssss".
I still can't believe this is being debated.

Taking my bad omen to this thread here I'd like to give an update to y'all: Still #1 on Itunes, #150 on Apple Music, #1 on Amazon, Spotify still not updated Waiting for info on the overall chart but it's not sure we're getting anything today It was still number one on the Amazon sales chart yesterday but I haven't checked today yet and I don't know how it's doing on their streaming chart.

If we entertain the idea it's not a live vocal, but we definitely agree it's not a match to studio version, I wonder then if it's a vocal take from the demo?

How’s it performing on the charts so far ? Going super strong on downloads, not as well on streaming services but compared to similar artists he's holding his own (he's in the 150-200 range) Sitting at #12 in yesterday's chart update, we're getting nothing today but new info may come out tomorrow I assume it'll slide a bit more but hopefully it can stay in the top 40
